About the Role
As a Project Manager/Recruiter, you will learn a whole new industry within book publishing and connecting with women around the world. You will recruit authors to join our anthologies while managing multiple projects simultaneously and ensure that all deadlines are met. You will also take the lead on author groups & meetings, delegating tasks, and managing the productivity of your team.
You will be responsible for assigning tasks to the right team members, checking on their progress, and ensuring that each project is completed on time and to the highest standard.
Update recruiting procedures or create new procedures
Search for and enforce new sourcing methods to find authors
Evaluate and suggest the best recruiting method for the employer
Suggest ways to improve the employer's brand
Conduct proper interviewing methods
Attend Online events & Meetings
Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines
Delegating tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them
Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project
Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy
Communicating with executives or the board to keep the project aligned with their goals
Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected
Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needed
