Charel Morris
Charel Morris has spent a lifetime translating the invisible into the visible —turning struggle into wisdom, and other people's dreams into their next step. She begins her career in Hollywood, one of four women among two thousand engineers in the Sound Union, working alongside legends like Katharine Hepburn and Clint Eastwood. She goes on to produce major tech conferences, including DEF CON, Black Hat, and ApacheCon. For eighteen years, she apprentices with author Lynn Andrews, crafting Mystery School retreats and ceremonies, while editing Lynn's scripts and books.
Today she's a 21st-century shaman and creator of the Energetic Economy. If your story wants to become a book, she'd love to talk.
Why Storytelling Matters to Me
My dad wrote and I work with author Lynn Andrews for 18 years and in studying Shamanic teaching Storytelling is a major part of it. In the writing I do here on articles there is often a story in the mix - And in my work as a healer or when I talk with businesspeople about getting their business flowing stores come into the process and healing.
What Drew Me to Publishing
I was with Lynn for 18 years during that time I also work with Harper her publisher and her agent. I enjoyed that world and so as I have been here I fine similar moments. On her first contract with Hay House as I and our artist were overseeing the entire project on Lynn side. I have attended the international book events so it is a world I enjoy
My Belief in Visibility and Women’s Voices
From my early like I was comfortable with adults, and my parents never were the parent that put me aside. With my father’s music and a comedy writer in Hollywood I was often with my dad until I was 5 or so. In school my friends knew if we wanted to do something their parent might not want. I was the one who asked their parents and they would say yes. As someone working is film & Tv I was open to be seen and on set or in the studio my voice was heard. As a producer of conferences – It was my conference I was the CEO after I step out of there and then the changes of covid things changed and I drew back and it has taken years to get back and I am still working on it. So, Visibility and a Woman’s Voice is so important to our world.
