Why Storytelling Matters to Me
Stories have the power to heal, connect, educate, and inspire in ways facts alone never can. Throughout my own life, I have discovered that the moments we often try hardest to hide are the very moments that allow others to feel seen.
As a grief educator, therapist, coach, and author, I have witnessed how sharing our stories helps transform pain into purpose. It reminds us we are not alone and creates permission for others to speak their own truth.
Every story has the potential to create a ripple effect. One person's courage to share can become another person's hope, healing, or turning point. That is why storytelling matters so deeply to me, it changes lives.
What Drew Me to Publishing
Publishing felt like a natural next step after experiencing the incredible journey of becoming an author myself. I know firsthand how vulnerable it can feel to put your words into the world, but I also know how transformational that journey can be.
Through publishing, I have seen ordinary people become confident thought leaders simply because they found the courage to share their experiences. I wanted to become part of that process, not simply helping people publish a book, but helping them believe that their voice matters.
For me, publishing is about creating legacy, opening doors, and giving people the confidence to own their story.
My Belief in Visibility and Women’s Voices
For far too long, many women have been taught to stay quiet, make themselves smaller, or believe their experiences are not important enough to share.
I believe every woman carries wisdom that someone else needs to hear.
Visibility is not about seeking attention; it is about creating impact. When women share their stories, expertise, and lived experiences, they give others permission to do the same. They challenge stigma, inspire change, build communities, and create opportunities that extend far beyond themselves.
The world needs more authentic voices, not perfect ones.
How I Support Aspiring Authors
I believe every author deserves to feel supported, encouraged, and confident throughout their publishing journey.
Whether someone is writing their very first chapter or preparing to share years of knowledge and experience, I aim to create a safe, empowering environment where they feel seen and believed in.
I help aspiring authors move beyond self-doubt, recognise the value of their lived experiences, and understand that they do not have to write a bestseller to make a difference. Sometimes the right story simply needs to reach the right person.
My role is to walk alongside them, offering guidance, encouragement, and belief, so they can publish with confidence and create a lasting legacy through their words.
