Julie Lavia is a visibility coach and community leader helping women get more visible on Facebook and beyond the feed. My mission is to empower more women to amplify their voices through networking and collaboration in smaller communities. Julie is an author, podcast and summit host, and aspiring speaker.
Why Storytelling Matters to Me
Storytelling matters because I am a storyteller who wants to help other women to amplify their voices. Storytelling helps me heal unresolved trauma and builds more brand authority to help build closer connections with other people.
What Drew Me to Publishing
I believe in the power of books and what it can do to impact your life and I love the idea of being apart of the authors journey of watching them go from book idea to publishing, launching and marketing. Since srs does a great job helping other women find their voices, it help inspired me to give back and help others who have been wanting to write a book, get that opportunity to publish as well. I was also a solo book and co author who understands first hand how the nerves and excitement of getting your first book published.
My Belief in Visibility and Women’s Voices
Visibility matters especially for women sharing their voices because this is something I’m passionate about doing. As someone who grew up without a voice and as a result had a hard time being seen and heard, I want to make sure other women never have to show up feeling small again.
How I Support Aspiring Authors
I plan on providing more independent coaching, accountability and support to make sure they are on the right track. It can be 1 on 1 or group support if needed whether you need to elaborate on an idea through brainstorming, launching and marketing ideas and challenges to help the authors go through a smooth publishing process.
