Why Storytelling Matters to Me
Storytelling is the oldest form of verbal communication. Stories create oral and recorded history. First told around a campfire, stories live beyond us. They offer a legacy that creates bonds of friendship and community. I believe stories help the teller to express their joy and sorrow that survives any challenge.
What Drew Me to Publishing
I believe everyone has a story or information worth telling. But writing with the idea of publishing can be a daunting and lonely process. Having gone through it, I help authors persevere to publication.
My Belief in Visibility and Women’s Voices
I believe every person has valuable insight and content to share. Everyone who commits information and experience to the written page enriches themself and the collective. Publishing creates a unique legacy that lives into the future.
How I Support Aspiring Authors
I stay in communication with authors and offer support as needed. I enjoy listening and bolstering self-confidence. I offer technical advice and assure each writer what s/he has to say is important and valuable. Seeing each new work published inspires countless others. That’s one way the human race advances.
