Why Storytelling Matters to Me
Storytelling matters to me because stories help people feel seen, understood, and less alone. Facts can inform us, but stories often move us to reflect, connect, and take action. I believe our experiences, including the challenges we have faced and the lessons we have learned, can become a source of hope, encouragement, and transformation for someone else.
What Drew Me to Publishing
As an author, educator, speaker, and lifelong encourager of others, I have experienced firsthand the power of putting a message into words and sharing it with a wider audience. Publishing allows a person’s knowledge, story, and impact to extend far beyond a single conversation, classroom, stage, or season of life. I was drawn to the publishing space because I want to help others recognize the value of their voice and bring important stories and ideas into the world.
My Belief in Visibility and Women’s Voices
Visibility matters because powerful voices cannot create change if they remain unheard. Too many women minimize their experiences, question their expertise, or wait until they feel completely ready before sharing what they know. I believe women’s stories, wisdom, leadership, and lived experiences deserve to be represented. When women step forward and share their voices, they not only strengthen their own confidence and influence, but they also give other women permission to do the same.
How I Support Aspiring Authors
I support aspiring authors by helping them gain clarity around their message, identify the audience they are called to serve, and take practical steps toward completing and publishing their work. I bring encouragement, thoughtful questions, accountability, and a structured approach to what can sometimes feel like an overwhelming process. My goal is to help each author move forward with greater confidence while remaining true to their own voice, story, and purpose.
