After 28 years in corporate leadership, Amie Rich is embarking on a transformative journey from executive to empowerment coach and author, inspiring women to embrace self-love, break cycles of generational trauma, and reclaim their power. Her mission is deeply personal, shaped by life experiences that forced her to confront the realities of grief, family addiction, and the pressures of overachievement. Today, she guides women toward alignment of mind, body, and spirit, blending neuroscience with spirituality in a unique and deeply effective approach.

Rich’s pivot from corporate life began in a moment of profound loss. The passing of her father marked a defining shift that she often shares in her keynotes. “When he died, I couldn’t cry,”she recalls. “I immediately stepped into the role of being the strong one. I was the big sister who holds everything together, and I put the mask back on so I could push through. It wasn’t until months later that the grief finally came. That experience opened my eyes. I knew I wanted to help others who find themselves being everything for everyone else, to show them it’s not only okay, but necessary, to put themselves first.”

Growing up in a family affected by addiction gave Rich an early and visceral understanding of generational trauma.

“I learned to read the room before I spoke, to anticipate moods, and to carry responsibilities that were never mine,” she shares. These survival strategies-pleasing, overachieving, and numbing propelled her career success but at a significant cost to her own well-being. By the time she turned 40, she committed to her “no-BS year,” a turning point in which she made life-altering decisions to break free from unhealthy patterns. One of the most pivotal decisions was leaving an unhappy marriage, a choice that not only altered her path but set a new example for her children, demonstrating that it is possible to create healthier family dynamics and a different story than the one inherited.

Rich’s approach to coaching uniquely blends neuroscience and spirituality. “Neuroscience helps us understand what’s happening in the brain and body, why we go into survival mode, why we repeat patterns, and how the nervous system drives our behavior. Spirituality offers the compassion, connection, and deeper meaning that science alone can’t always explain,” she explains. Through modalities such as NLP and hypnotherapy, combined with meditation and energy work, Rich equips her clients with tools to reframe thoughts, access the subconscious, and reconnect with their intuition. This holistic approach allows clients not just to understand their behavior, but to experience profound healing and empowerment.

A central concept in Rich’s work is helping women “break free from survival mode,” a state where the nervous system remains locked in fight, flight, freeze, or fawn. For many women, this manifests as over-giving, people-pleasing, and running on empty. “Self-love is the foundation of all self-healing,” Rich emphasizes. “The first step is awareness pausing long enough to ask, ‘Am I doing this out of fear, or out of love for myself?’ Then, even small shifts like setting a boundary, taking five minutes to breathe, or allowing yourself to rest without guilt become powerful declarations of self-worth.”These small acts accumulate, creating the foundation for deeper healing, alignment, and lasting empowerment.

Her book, The ABCs of Self-Love, distills this wisdom into an accessible, practical guide. Each letter offers a tangible step toward self-love, creating a framework for rediscovery and empowerment. “Readers often tell me how much it feels like a personal chat,” she shares. “It validates their struggles while reminding them that self-love isn’t selfish, it's foundational. The message that resonates most is that self-love is not a destination, it’s a daily practice of choosing yourself in small but meaningful ways.”

Rich’s upcoming book, Beyond Numbing: How Self-Love Heals the Wounds We Hide, delves even deeper. Describing it as a labor of love, she shares, “As I wrote, memories I had tucked away for decades surfaced, and with them came the realization that they were hidden for a reason. This book is about awareness, recognition of patterns, and the courage to face what we’ve numbed. While it’s not a memoir, it’s infused with vulnerability, inviting readers to see themselves in the journey and discover how self-love can guide them to authenticity, wholeness, and healing.”

A key aspect of Rich’s methodology is her certification as a NEUROFIT nervous system practitioner. Through this work, she helps clients reset their nervous systems, build sustainable habits, and cultivate clarity and resilience. “NEUROFIT showed me how simple daily exercises could move me from chaos to clarity.

Integrating those tools into coaching allows clients to experience real transformation by feeling safe in their own bodies,”she explains. This science-based approach complements her spiritual framework, offering a comprehensive pathway for lasting empowerment.

Meditation plays a crucial role in her practice, especially in healing burnout and disconnection. Rich likens meditation to a pause in life: “Many of us take the time to say our prayers but rarely take the time to listen. Meditation creates the space to slow down, regulate the body, and reconnect with what matters most.” Her Empowered Meditation Library provides a practical resource for busy lives, featuring guided sessions, live energy healing, and replays for convenience. Through this library, Rich ensures that meditation becomes accessible, practical, and deeply transformative.

Beyond her books and coaching, Rich is actively involved in fostering women’s growth and connection as the Santa Clarita Chapter Manager for She Wins. “Leading this chapter allows me to create spaces where women can truly be seen,” she shares. “She Wins flips the narrative of isolation, fostering connection, collaboration, and growth. My hope is that when women step into these rooms, they feel inspired and supported, realizing they have access to the same possibilities.” Through initiatives like She Rises Studios, Rich amplifies voices and creates platforms for women to celebrate wins together, reinforcing the importance of community in personal and professional growth.

For those feeling stuck in cycles of people-pleasing and burnout, Rich offers a simple yet profound piece of advice: “Choose one small act that puts you first. It could be a five-minute walk, enjoying your morning coffee without distraction, or washing dishes while being fully present. Every time you pause and choose yourself, you teach your nervous system that safety and self-worth can coexist.” To make this process even more accessible, she offers her “I Can’t Meditate” meditation, demonstrating her Swipe Method to gently release intrusive thoughts and integrate mindfulness into everyday life.

Amie Rich’s journey from corporate executive to empowerment coach and author reflects a dedication to personal growth, self-love, and authentic living. Her work is a testament to the power of combining neuroscience, spirituality, and lived experience to create meaningful change. By guiding women out of survival mode and into lives of presence, awareness, and empowerment, she provides not just tools but a pathway to a fuller, more connected life. Through her books, coaching, meditation practices, and leadership in She Wins, Rich continues to inspire women to honor themselves, break generational cycles, and rise into their highest potential.
