A profound phrase occurred to me in a season of life when I really needed to hear it: you are allowed to change your mind, even if it inconveniences others. As a recovering People Pleaser, this phrase helped me to find my voice in situations where previously I’d believed there were no alternatives. We grow, we learn – if we cannot adjust our lives accordingly, what’s the point?
