AmyButler: Vice President of People Operations, Awardco
By Bronson Dameron

Amy Butler is the Vice President of People Operations at Awardco, where she leads the company’s people strategy with a focus on building scalable systems that support employee experience, organizational growth, and high-performing teams. Her work centers on helping organizations create workplaces where recognition, development, and connection are part of everyday culture rather than occasional initiatives.
In 2026, Butler was recognized as a Utah Business Women to Watch Honoree, an award selected from more than 300 nominations and designed to celebrate women making a meaningful impact in business and leadership. The recognition reflects the influence she has had not only within Awardco, but also in the broader conversation around modern people strategy, employee engagement, and workplace culture.
Before joining Awardco, Butler built an impressive track record in human resources and total rewards leadership. She spent more than five years at Qualtrics, where she ultimately led the company’s Global Benefits Team, and later served as Head of People Operations at Route, helping scale HR infrastructure during a period of rapid growth. Across those roles, she developed expertise in performance management, compensation structures, employee lifecycle strategy, and culture-building programs designed to strengthen belonging and retention.
At Awardco, Butler has become a respected voice on the evolving role of HR and the power of recognition to drive measurable business outcomes. She has spoken publicly on topics including authentic employee engagement, recognition strategy, and people programs that create stronger culture and performance. Her perspective is rooted in the belief that effective people leadership must be thoughtful, human, and built to scale.
Known for combining operational rigor with a people-first mindset, Amy Butler represents a new generation of HR leadership—one that sees recognition, growth, and employee experience as essential drivers of organizational success.
