Building Power in the Sheconomy

For a long time, many women were taught that success meant working hard and hoping someone eventually gave them a seat at the table. The idea was that if you proved yourself enough, someone would open the door for you. What I have seen over the past several years tells a very different story.
Women are no longer waiting for the door to open. We are building our own rooms.
Through my work with She Rises Studios, I have had the opportunity to work with thousands of women entrepreneurs, authors, speakers, and founders. One thing I have noticed again and again is that the talent is already there. The passion is there. The ideas are there. What many women have lacked is not ability, but visibility and access.
We live in a time where visibility matters more than ever. When people see your work and hear your voice, they begin to understand your expertise. That is where opportunities start to grow. Visibility leads to trust, and trust leads to real business and leadership opportunities.
Another important part of this shift is ownership. When women build their own brands, publish their ideas, create communities, or host events, they are creating platforms that cannot easily be taken away from them. Ownership allows women to shape their own stories and build something that lasts.

I have also seen the power of collaboration. Some of the most incredible things I have witnessed have happened when women decided to support each other instead of competing with one another. Partnerships, shared stages, and communities create momentum that is very difficult to build alone.
This is what I mean when I talk about the Sheconomy. It is the growing influence of women who are building businesses, platforms, and communities that create opportunity not only for themselves, but for others as well.
The future of business will be shaped by people who are willing to build something meaningful and invite others into it. I believe women are playing a powerful role in that shift.
My hope is that more women begin to recognize the value of their voices and their ideas. You do not have to wait for permission to share your work or to build something that matters.
The Sheconomy is already taking shape through women who are showing up, speaking up, and creating new opportunities for the next generation to step into.
