Building Trust Through Design: My Journey With Lush Loom

CEO, Lush Loom Dubai

I never planned to become the CEO of an interior solutions company. In fact, when I started Lush Loom in 2020, I wasn’t chasing a big industry trend or trying to build a large company. I simply wanted to fix a problem I saw repeatedly in Dubai: people were spending money on renovations, but they weren’t getting peace of mind, honesty, or a sense of connection from the companies they hired. The work was getting done, but the experience was missing. I believed interior transformation should feel exciting, not exhausting — meaningful, not mechanical.
That belief became the seed of Lush Loom. I began with a small team, a clear vision, and a commitment to treat every customer’s space like it was my own. Five years later, we’ve completed more than 1,400 residential and commercial projects across Dubai, and the same vision still guides every decision I make as a CEO.
How My Journey Shaped My Leadership:
In the early days, I handled everything myself — measuring curtains, inspecting flooring, choosing fabrics with clients, and sometimes even climbing ladders to fix things. It wasn’t because we didn’t have a team; it was because I wanted to understand the emotional side of renovation.
When someone lets you into their home or business, they’re trusting you with something personal. A living room isn’t just a room. It’s where memories are created. A child’s bedroom isn’t just a space. It’s where comfort, color, and safety meet. A restaurant interior isn’t just décor. It’s the impression customers carry with them.
Understanding this changed everything. It taught me that the real job isn’t installing carpets or wallpaper — it’s removing stress, adding beauty, and creating a feeling that stays long after the project is finished.
The Philosophy Behind Lush Loom:
As the company grew, so did our services — full interior renovation, custom curtains, blinds, wall-to-wall carpets, flooring, wall panels, wallpaper, custom furniture, upholstery, and artificial grass. But despite the expansion, one thing never changed: our customer-first mindset.
To stand out in a crowded market like Dubai, we didn’t chase trends. We focused on three simple principles:
1. Clear communication:
People trust you more when you speak openly, explain honestly, and provide clarity. I’ve always believed transparency is stronger than any marketing strategy.
2. Consistency in quality:
A project in Emirates Hills deserves the same dedication as a project in Mirdif. When quality becomes a habit, customers notice — and they refer others.
3. Designing with emotion:
Before recommending a design, I always ask customers how they want to feel in that space. Warm? Calm? Energetic? Luxurious? Spaces become meaningful when design connects with emotion.
How This Journey Connects to Storytelling
Over the years, I realized that business, interior design, and even podcasting have one thing in common: they thrive on connection. You can use the best tools and techniques, but people won’t remember the technicalities — they’ll remember the experience.
That’s why storytelling matters. Every space we transform becomes a story of trust, collaboration, and problem-solving. And every customer interaction teaches me more about leadership, empathy, and the value of listening carefully before speaking.
What I’ve Learned After 1,400+ Projects

Success doesn’t come from being the biggest company. It comes from being the most dependable one. I’ve learned that sincerity leads to loyalty, quality leads to referrals, and genuine care leads to long-term reputation.
Lush Loom didn’t grow overnight. It grew one conversation at a time, one room at a time, and one story at a time. And honestly, that’s the part of the journey I’m most proud of.
