Emerge

Writing still does not come easy even with two publications already out. In this article I reflect upon my own writing journey. Just a few years ago I could barely string together sentences to make a paragraph but here I’m today trying to build a writing career not just to my local community in Zimbabwe Africa where I reside but for a global audience thanks to She Rises Studio Community. I don’t consider myself as an acclaimed author but an aspiring author who is ambitious, talented, focused and willing to learn till I accomplish my mission in book writing. I’m emerging in this generation.
What then is the meaning of the word emerge? To emerge is to show up \to appear\to rise up. I want to give a biblical scenario of how men emerge on the face of the earth. In Genesis 27v 30 the bible tells us that as soon as Jacob left his father’s presence Esau emerged. Life has taught me that you can either emerge too late or emerge right on time or even not emerge in your whole life time. Let’s talk about Esau the bible the tells us his father asked him to go to the bush and get him vernison such as he loved so that he may eat and bless him. Esau went in obedience and was busy working looking for an animal to kill by the time he found the animal it was too late. He emerged\showed up late and Jacob took what rightfully belonged to him, he took the blessing.
The story of Esau is the story of man people on the face of the earth. Some have died without emerging, while another group is sitting holding back confused, having a sense of what you’re here to do but don’t know how to make the transition. Some don’t even know where to start yet deep inside there is a burning desire to express your gift and voice that will make a difference but don’t know how to start. That is a wake-up call for you. That is a deep signal that you’re meant for more. It’s time to emerge. A powerful thing is waking up inside of you.
Deep inside me I knew I was created for more. God created me here on earth to make a difference. I longed to create a career that honours my calling and gifting. Having discovered my calling I realized it was not enough, I had to build on my success and achieve to impact others on a larger scale. I started my career 13 years ago, it is during my experiences in the struggles of emerging in my Pastoral calling as a young female Pastor in a looked down upon environment that writing books was inspired. With a dream of becoming an acclaimed author, I co-authored a book with HANNA OLIVAS and other authors in my debut first written published work in the USA BEST SELLER ‘’PRAY DON’T PANIC” and my second book another USA BEST SELLER “WHOLE BODY BLESSINGS’’ with DR RENEE SUNDAY and other authors. UNLEASH HER book is my 3rd anthology. I’m in the process of having my debut book published and it will be out before the end of year.
What are you called to amplify here on earth? That is your story.I discovered that the greatest tragedy in life is to live a life without purpose. Nothing is worse than being alive not knowing your purpose. Without purpose, life has no meaning. I am woman of purpose\vision, I celebrate myself, and I appreciate every step of progress in my journey. I might not have killed it but I got my foot on it.
I wrote down my vision according to Habbakuk:2:3: For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. I plan to succeed. I do not plan to fail. My success is important to God. He is the creator of the brand and I am the product. My success is inbuilt in creation.
What is holding you back from writing that book? Remember you’re King\Queen don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. You have a voice that has been suppressed for long it needs to be amplified through your story telling and now is the right time to unleash that voice. Understand there is no quick way to becoming a better writer, you have to be patient, willing to learn and give yourself grace until your gift is perfected. I broke free from that generational curse that was holding me back and fought hard to defeat the old mindset that creeped in each time I wanted to move forward.
Writing has been a virtal instrument in my healing. I don’t know about you but from my experience I have learnt that putting pen to paper to tell our story can bring immense relief. Writing has helped me regain my power, my freedom and my voice. I discovered my true genius that allows me to share my gifts while fulfilling my life’s purpose and calling. It’s time to emerge. Don’t hold back any-longer.Tell that story.
