Her early adulthood included one of the most defining challenges of her life. Before getting married to her husband, Mario Africain, in 2015, her first marriage, she was a single parent. Even before her son was born, she knew she would be raising him on her own. Supporting her family required working two jobs, a demanding reality that tested her patience and endurance. During that same season, she was also a full time college student and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice in 2016 from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She often shared with her son that earning a degree opens many amazing career opportunities, and she remained committed to leading by example. Yet she never viewed the experience as a burden. Instead, it became a training ground for resilience. She often reflects on that period as proof that no challenge lasts forever.
Today, she speaks with pride about the outcome of those years of dedication. Her son, now twenty eight years old, grew into a humble, respectful, and independent man who completed college and became a successful therapist.

Faith has always played a central role in her life, but in 2020 it took on renewed meaning when she and her husband made a shared decision to give their lives to Christ. That commitment reshaped their priorities and strengthened their marriage. She shifted her guiding question from what she wanted to accomplish to what she felt called to do.

She wanted a Haitian flag mask but could not find one available in stores. Instead of giving up, she designed one herself. That moment sparked the creation of a business built on originality and cultural pride. Today, she continues to design products that are not typically available elsewhere, with a special passion for creating custom designs for businesses.
Her creative path expanded even further in 2023 after attending a virtual business seminar hosted by her pastor, who is also a Certified Maxwell Business Coach. While the seminar offered ten practical strategies for financial growth, it was the discussion about authorship that captured her attention most deeply. After praying about the idea and seeking guidance from God, she felt encouraged to move forward with writing in a more intentional way. From that point forward, her work as an author became a central expression of her calling.
Fabiana approaches writing not as a platform for delivering final answers but as a tool for inviting readers to explore deeper patterns and perspectives. She believes that understanding leads to transformation, and transformation leads to wiser choices. Her books reflect that philosophy by encouraging reflection rather than prescribing rigid solutions.
Her success as an entrepreneur and global author was not something she originally placed on her vision board. Instead, it emerged naturally through faith, persistence, and the support of those closest to her. She often credits her husband Mario, her son Jiovanni, and her maid of honor and best friend Nathalie as her strongest supporters.

One of the most significant transitions in her life occurred in 2017 when she and her husband moved from Boston to Florida. Without stepping outside her comfort zone, she believes she may not have become a global author.
