In the quiet moments of early motherhood, Cassandra Love Lambert uncovered a revelation that would alter her life's path. Unraveling the Past
Growing up with an emotionally unavailable parent and enduring sexual abuse, Cassandra's early life was marked by a lack of awareness and understanding about trauma and its long-lasting effects. "Parents had the freedom to treat their children in ways now recognized as abusive or unsupportive," she reflects. As she matured, the gap in understanding between generations became evident. What was once considered normal behavior has drastically evolved, leading to a greater awareness and acknowledgment of trauma and its repercussions.
Leaving her parents' home did not bring immediate relief. Cassandra found herself entangled in a series of abusive relationships, mirroring the patterns she had known as a child. It wasn't until the birth of her daughter that she felt a profound urgency to break the cycle of trauma. "My daughter became the driving force behind my transformation," she explains. Determined to give her child a healthy upbringing, Cassandra dived deep into her healing journey, confronting and navigating her past traumas. The Path to Healing
Cassandra's initial foray into healing began with Clinical Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), a modality that brought her profound relief. The transformative power of EFT led her to pursue certification, driven by the desire to help other women facing similar challenges. Her journey didn't stop there. She explored Brainspotting and Somatic Attachment Therapy, developing a comprehensive 5-stage 'Pain into Power Process.' This process became the cornerstone of her work, enabling her to guide others through their healing journeys.
"Despite being on a healing journey for over a decade, it wasn't until I delved into somatic work that I experienced lasting, transformative change," Cassandra shares. Her dedication to these modalities stemmed from a personal mission to share the tools that had brought her relief and empowerment. Art as Therapy
For Cassandra, art has always been more than just a hobby; it has been a sanctuary. Even amidst darkness, her artistic endeavors provided a way to channel her emotions and create beauty. Her journey into face and body art began unexpectedly when she was three months pregnant. What started as a temporary venture blossomed into a thriving business, supporting her and other mothers until the pandemic struck.
"The pandemic forced a sudden halt to my art business," she recalls. This abrupt change pushed her to pivot and focus on her somatic practice. "Being an artist has enriched me with heightened intuition, empathy, and attunement to others," Cassandra explains. These qualities have significantly complemented her work with women, enhancing her ability to connect and support them on their healing journeys. Creating the 'Pain into Power Process'
The convergence of her experiences and skills led to the creation of the 10-week 'Pain into Power Process.' Inspired by her decade-long journey of personal growth, this program is designed to empower women with tools for daily practice, mind-body-spirit alignment, and navigating life's challenges with grace.
"My aim was to condense the transformative journey into a program tailored to individual needs," Cassandra says. The program addresses self-soothing techniques, boundary-setting, dismantling limiting beliefs with EFT, and overcoming stagnancy. It empowers women to shift from survival to thriving, fostering a sense of personal power and intentional living.
