As the clock strikes midnight and 2025 begins, an undeniable energy fills the air—a promise of fresh starts and new possibilities. Yet, how often have we set New Year’s resolutions only to feel disconnected from them by February? I’ve been there. Years ago, after a severe back injury from a car accident, I was stuck in frustration and overwhelm, unsure if I could reclaim my health, confidence, or purpose. What I discovered during that challenging time is now the foundation of what I teach women worldwide: transformation doesn’t come from resolutions—it comes from intention.
A New Year, A New Way

Why Intentions Ignite Transformation
Unlike resolutions, which focus on external outcomes, intentions are rooted in how you want to feel. They align your actions with your values. For example:
A resolution might be: “I’ll go to the gym five days a week.”
An intention could be: “I will honor my body by moving it in ways that feel joyful and strong.”

The Ignite Method: Your Path to Transformation
1. Ignite Awareness
Before setting goals, reflect. Ask yourself:
What do I want to feel in 2025?
What’s holding me back from stepping into my power?
What lights me up and makes me feel alive?
Spend 10 minutes journaling your answers. Awareness is the first step—it’s like flipping on the light in a dark room.
2. Ignite Intention
Choose one guiding word for the year—perhaps strong, vibrant, or bold. Let this word shape how you show up each day. Then write 1–3 intentions that align with it.
If your word is strong:
“I will fuel my body with nourishing foods.”
“I will lift weights twice a week to build strength.”
“I will say no to things that drain my energy.”
3. Ignite Action
Intentions come to life through consistent action. Start small. What can you do today to feel closer to your desired outcome?
Try this:
Create a vision board with images that reflect your guiding word.
Set a 7-day micro-goal, like drinking more water or meditating for 5 minutes daily.
Celebrate small wins—progress fuels momentum.

This year, release perfection and embrace the power of intention. You don’t need to have it all figured out or wait until you feel “ready.” The most important thing is to start.
