For as long as she can remember, Sarah Mangiarelli has been captivated by the power of words. Whether it was a movie line, a song lyric, or a simple quote on a page, words always struck her at a soul-deep level. One phrase that continues to guide her is from Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, when Kevin Costner’s character says, “Nobility is not a birthright. It is defined by one’s actions.” For Sarah, this truth is more than a line from a film—it is a philosophy that has shaped both her life and her work.

Today, Sarah is the founder of Illuminated with SarahElizabeth, a platform where she blends narrative therapy, Reiki, crystals, and angel communication into a unique form of transformational coaching. Through her work, she helps women reclaim their voices, release old narratives, and step into their authentic power. Her journey to this path, however, was not linear—it was forged through unraveling, rediscovery, and a courageous embrace of vulnerability.

Sarah’s gift lies in her ability to see the profound link between words and energy. When she began exploring narrative therapy, she quickly realized that the stories we tell ourselves carry enormous weight. Writing became both a declaration of strength and a release valve for grief, guilt, and pain. Through intuitive writing, she learned to peel back layers of her own story and face emotions she had long buried. Yet, it was Reiki that brought healing to those exposed truths. By channeling universal life force energy, Sarah could soothe the rawness that surfaced through narrative work. Together, words and energy became a complete system of healing, addressing both the mind and the spirit. For Sarah, it was never about choosing between modalities but weaving them together, creating wholeness for herself and her clients.

At first glance, Sarah’s path from Certified Public Accountant to energy healer may seem like a leap between two entirely different worlds. But Sarah sees them as complementary. Her years as a CPA gave her a foundation of structure, accountability, and strategy—qualities that she now infuses into her coaching. Healing work, she believes, cannot exist only in the abstract. It requires systems and sustainable practices to ground transformation. She views accounting and energy healing as two expressions of balance—one with numbers, the other with the soul. By integrating both aspects of herself, Sarah has found alignment in her purpose, and she encourages her clients to do the same: embrace all parts of who they are rather than choosing one identity over another.

Sarah’s book, When the White Picket Fence Is No Longer Enough, emerged from a personal season of unraveling. Outwardly, she had built the perfect picture of success—family, home, career. Yet inside, she was silently crumbling, burdened by expectations and a life misaligned with her soul. Writing became her lifeline, a way to reclaim the voice she had silenced. In time, Sarah realized that her unraveling was not failure but initiation. It was a sacred path leading her back to forgotten parts of herself. Her book became both release and invitation—not just for her, but for any woman who has ever wondered, “Is this all there is?” While Sarah once thought publishing the book marked the end of her journey, it proved instead to be the beginning of a deeper calling to help others find freedom on the other side of their own “white picket fences.”

Central to Sarah’s work is the belief that vulnerability is the gateway to true transformation. She knows firsthand the cost and courage it takes to step into raw honesty. But she also knows that hiding behind old stories only keeps people armored and disconnected. For Sarah, vulnerability is not weakness; it is the courage to be seen, to sit with the truth of who we are, and to trust that we are still worthy of love—even if the first step is learning to love ourselves.

Sarah’s process of guiding women begins with helping them name the narrative they have been living—often a story of “not enough.” Once that story is voiced, she uses energy healing to release the emotional imprints it carries.

From there, her clients are invited to rewrite their story through journaling, meditation, affirmations, and embodied practices. She teaches that rewriting isn’t just words on a page—it’s about reshaping how women experience themselves in the world. At the heart of this work lies gratitude: gratitude for survival, for hidden lessons, for the freedom to choose a new narrative. Gratitude, Sarah believes, is what roots the process of transformation.

One of Sarah’s most memorable client breakthroughs came from a woman who felt lost after years of focusing on others. She no longer recognized herself in the mirror, and her self-disdain strained her relationships. In their work together, Sarah helped her uncover a childhood narrative of conditional worth—believing her value depended on what she did for others. By releasing this story and embracing her inherent worth, the woman began exploring new passions and revived her marriage from a place of authenticity. Sarah recalls the shift not only in her client’s words but in her radiant energy: she was alive again, glowing from within.

In her personal life, Sarah leans on spiritual practices that keep her connected. Journaling—especially automatic writing—remains her anchor, allowing her to speak truth without censorship. Reiki has taught her to trust energy as its own language, while angel communication reassured her in her early days of self-doubt. Crystals, with their unique frequencies, and stillness—moments of deep silence—have also been essential in her evolution. For Sarah, stillness has been where she heard the whispers of her soul most clearly.

Looking ahead, Sarah envisions Illuminated with Sarah Elizabeth as more than just a coaching practice. She dreams of creating a sanctuary where women can gather, heal, and rise together—both online and in person. She sees it expanding into courses, workshops, retreats, and collaborative projects, but most importantly, she hopes it grows into a movement. Her vision is a world where women no longer silence themselves, where they recognize their worth, reclaim their voices, and shine unapologetically. For Sarah, illumination is not just light—it is freedom, truth, and power.
