Caroline Alan is a mineral enthusiast, wellness advocate, and the co-founder of BEAM Minerals—a cutting-edge line of plant-based mineral supplements designed to replenish the body at a cellular level. After struggling with a series of chronic health issues that conventional medicine couldn’t resolve, Caroline turned to functional nutrition and deep scientific research to find answers. What she discovered was a critical yet overlooked factor in modern wellness: mineral depletion.

With a background in corporate leadership and a talent for translating complex science into simple, actionable steps, Caroline now educates others on the profound connection between mineral balance and overall health. From energy levels and detoxification to gut health and inflammation, she empowers individuals—especially women—to address the root causes of fatigue, hormonal imbalance, and chronic symptoms by restoring what the body’s been missing all along.

What does it mean to you to lead with legacy in mind?

It’s about integrity, which requires an awareness of resonance and full alignment with what I want to be and create. Everyday I think about what I am creating and how I am going about it. I want to contribute to the earth and humanity, to be a part of leaving it in a better place. This leaves me with many decisions to make each day, all of which require me to be aware of this intended result. If an employee is not succeeding and I am frustrated with them, I look inside myself and ask myself what I want to create? I can come down hard on the employee, telling them how they are failing, or I can take up a more generative approach and help them see what is in their way and how they can be successful. This requires me to do the inner work with my own frustration, so that I can be present to the employee.

How are you shaping the next generation of women leaders through your work?

I believe that to change the world I have to be an example. The women who changed me were women of deep integrity. They were powerful in their ability to lead with grace. I felt seen by them and was inspired to walk my own path. Following in their footsteps, on my own journey, I am inspired to support the voices of women who are leading the charge on Women’s Health. Our company looks for and fosters these connections, believing that all the boats will come off the sand at the same time as the tide of change comes in.

What advice would you give to women stepping into positions of power for the first time?

Do your inner work first, it is the only thing that you can truly rely on. Don’t be afraid to ask questions, all learning requires them. Be willing to try stuff, see what works and don’t be too hard on yourself! When things don’t work, just go back inside, to your own heart. Look for your own truth, and when you feel it, let it move you again. The greatest leaders I know have this skill down and use it.
