Leading with Spiritual Strength and Compassion

My daily life is guided by my relationship with Jesus Christ and a deep trust in God’s direction for my life. Prayer is the foundation of my spiritual strength. I begin each day seeking God’s wisdom, asking Him to order my steps, soften my heart, and help me serve others with humility and love. Scripture reminds me that my work is not separate from my faith. Whatever I do, I aim to do it as unto the Lord, trusting that even ordinary moments can be used for His greater purpose.

Leading with compassion in challenging spaces requires choosing Christ-like love, especially when it is uncomfortable. I strive to lead with patience, gentleness, and grace, remembering that everyone who sits in my chair carries burdens that may never be spoken aloud. Compassion looks like listening without judgment, offering encouragement when someone feels unseen, and creating a space rooted in peace and kindness. I believe the salon can be more than a place of beauty. It can be a place of restoration, where people feel safe, valued, and reminded of their God-given worth.

Living with purpose means stewarding the gifts God has entrusted to me. Purpose is not measured by success or recognition, but by obedience and faithfulness. I believe God calls us to serve others well, to walk in integrity, and to reflect His love through our actions. For me, living with purpose means using my craft to build confidence, uplift spirits, and point others toward hope. It means showing up each day willing to be used, trusting that when my work is surrendered to God, it can leave a lasting impact far beyond what I can see.
