My childhood was spent wanting to reach for the stars, only to be told by everyone around me that none of those goals were possible.

But I went and did it all anyway.

From becoming a professional wrestler to working in television and film... from holding a Guinness World Record to running my own business to meeting my childhood heroes. I've lived a live where I made even my most lofty goals into reality.

Now I host a podcast where I hope to encourage other people to do the same. The Patrick Scott Patterson Project features guests who have their own journeys as it relates to chasing goals, putting themselves out there and following the paths that open up along the way.

The show launched in April 2025 with Jim O'Heir from Parks and Recreation as my first guest. In the weeks and months that followed, I was joined by guests such as Tony Award® winner Melba Moore, Lisa Wilcox of Nightmare on Elm Street Fame, Lisa Whelchel from the Facts of Life and Collector's Call, rising country music star Erin Kinsey, Marilyn Ghigliotti from Kevin Smith's classic film Clerks, celebrity chef Tony Luke Jr. and many more.

The show, as of this writing, has grown from bi-weekly to weekly, drawing in five figure audiences per episode and trending upward. Short-term focus is to keep on message, aiming to produce episodes that inspire people to go do things for themselves.

What I find most interesting personally is how the Project is lending to prove it's own message back to me in real time. I started ahead of the curve, using connections from decades in the public eye. But in a short time, I've come to start having opportunities to speak to people I could have never expected to speak to when I began this journey.

I'm not yet sure where the journey this podcast has sent me on is taking me, but I'm confident that it's where I'm supposed to be. Now at age 50, I feel both pride in accomplishing the tasks on my personal "bucket list" and confidence in the fact that whatever I'll be best known for it something that I haven't done yet.

This podcast seems to be the key. We'll find out what that all means together, all while giving people that spark they need to go on their own journey.
