I've been “listening with the ear of my heart”, as Saint Benedict instructs us since I was a child. For the last ten months I have been living my mystical life tending to the ear of my heart as a dream that has come true. This ancient wisdom, rooted in the quietude of deep inner contemplation, invites us to turn inward, to hear the whispers of our soul that often go unnoticed in the business of daily life. “Listening with the ear of our heart” is a profound practice of reconnection- a journey to rediscover who we are as living, breathing souls. It is a call to dive deep within, to the sacred space where our essence resides, untainted by human conditioning.

As a Metaphysician, I explore the unseen dimensions of existence,

seeking to “inner” stand the interplay between the physical and the spiritual. My work is grounded in the belief that we are more than our bodies; we are living souls tethered to the divine.

“Listening with the ear of the heart” is the cornerstone of this practice. It requires stillness, intention, going into our body as temple and connecting deep within, as well as a willingness to sit with the truths that emerge from within. In this sacred act, we peel back layers of human conditioning, fear, and distraction to uncover our authentic selves. It is here in the depths within, that we remember our purpose, our interconnectedness, and the spark of divinity that animates us.

As a Soulologist, my focus is on guiding others to reconnect with their soul's essence, to get out of their head and into their heart, to remember who they are, and to reconnect to their inner child. The heart's ear is a portal to this reconnection. The heart is the seat of the soul. When we listen deeply, we hear the soul's longings- its joy, it wounds, its unspoken dreams. This listening is not passive; it is an active, transformative process. It asks us to be present, to feel the rhythm of our breath, and to honor the stirrings of intuition. I encourage others to focus on inner stillness practices, their breath, journaling, and sitting in silence which creates space for the soul to speak, guiding us back into our heart to reconnect us to our truest selves. I help others process what is needed for deep inner soul work including clearing generational traumas and unconsciousness.

As a creative director, I weave this soulful listening into the art of storytelling and expression. Creativity is an act of channeling the soul's voice into form. Whether through writing, visual art, or performance, I strive to create works that resonate with the heart's truth. Listening with the ear of the heart informs my vision, allowing me to craft narratives that uplift, inspire, and remind others of the sacredness of life. It is a process of taking the intangible whispers of the soul and giving them shape in the world. This work is not about perfection but about authenticity, about creating from a place of deep alignment with the self.

This practice of heart-centered listening is not always easy. It demands courage to face the suppressed areas within, to sit with discomfort, and to trust the wisdom that arises. Yet, it is in this vulnerability that we find strength and connect to our inner knowing. By listening deeply, we remember that we are not separate from Creator's love. We rediscover our resilience, our creativity, and our capacity for love.

In a world that often pulls us outward, Saint Benedict's call to listen with the ear of the heart is a radical act of reclamation and the calling of a lifetime to help us remember who we are. As a metaphysician, soulologist, and creative director, my work is to guide others back to this truth, one infinite heartbeat at a time.
