Live Your Wellness: Trading Perfection for Peace Through Faith-Centered Coaching

By Christina Sabankaya

Christina is no stranger to stress and pressure. As an ER nurse, wife to a police officer, and mom balancing the demands of frontline service and family life, she knows the weight of expectation, burnout, and the quiet ache for something more—something deeper, aligned, and lasting.

That ache gave birth to Live Your Wellness Coaching—an integrative, faith-centered approach designed to help high-achieving men and women, especially those in caregiving and service-based roles, break free from perfectionism, people-pleasing, and the need to control. Christina’s work is grounded in the unshakable truth of God’s love: that our worth isn’t earned through doing, but secured through who we are in Christ.

A Personal Journey of Surrender

Christina’s journey to this work wasn’t easy. Several years ago, she faced a health battle that changed everything—a fast-growing pituitary tumor requiring neurosurgery. After being blessed with two children and purchasing a home, 2020 struck. The world shut down, and Christina found herself at the frontlines—navigating the chaos of a global pandemic as a mom of two young children, a first responder’s wife, and an emergency room nurse.

Amid the relentless pace, Christina received devastating news—the tumor had returned. Though non-cancerous, it was aggressive and required six weeks of daily radiation.

This season became both a breaking point and a turning point. For the first time, Christina had no choice but to let go. To loosen her grip. To surrender not only her health but her future, fears, and striving into the hands of Jesus.

In the stillness of struggle, she returned to the deep, unchanging truth: God’s love is enough, and so is she—apart from any achievement or performance.

Through this healing journey, Christina discovered the power of nervous system regulation, emotional resilience, and radical authenticity. Now, she equips others to walk their own path to freedom, rooted in Christ.

“I believe the Holy Spirit moves in stillness and surrender,” Christina says. “We don’t have to earn our rest or prove our value. When we protect our time and energy, honor our values, and release the lie that we have to do it all—we begin to live free.”

What She Offers

Christina provides 1:1 coaching, group workshops, and speaking engagements centered around her signature 4 R Approach: Reflect, Respond, Reconstruct, and Realign. This framework helps clients identify harmful patterns, reconnect with God’s truth, and build sustainable practices for wellness and peace.

Her sessions combine scripture-based truth, breath practices, and embodied movement, offering spiritual depth and practical support. As a board-certified nurse coach, Christina blends clinical knowledge with whole-person healing—mind, body, and spirit.

Who She Supports

Christina serves high-capacity individuals—nurses, educators, first responder spouses, mothers, and leaders—who are weary of striving to be “enough.” These are people who love deeply and serve faithfully but often feel depleted and disconnected from their own needs.

“These women and men are the heart of their families and workplaces,” Christina says. “But they often forget that they, too, are allowed to rest, to receive, to be nourished. I help them create that space.”

What Sets Her Apart

Christina creates a compassionate space where both faith and struggle are welcomed. She doesn’t shy away from hard conversations about fear, shame, or burnout. Her approach is both tender and bold, rooted in scripture and science, always pointing clients back to truth—not hustle; to grace—not performance.
