More Than a Book: How Redefined! Became a Blueprint for Becoming and Redefined Me

By the end of 2024, I had finally completed the manuscript. Yes! Typing the last words felt like exhaling after holding my breath for years. On February 25, 2025, Redefined! Flourishing in Life While Becoming Wife: The Ultimate Blueprint for the Woman Who Desires to Walk in Her God-Designed Purpose and Live Her Dreams Out Loud, as She M.O.P.S. Her Single Season and Prepares for Marriage, was officially released. Yet as good as the finish was, the journey was a whole hot mess, to say the least.

Writing Redefined! was a roller coaster adventure. This was a journey of healing, rediscovery, and lots of spiritual growth. When God told me to start writing in September 2020, I thought I was writing something that would help other women. Instead, God was using the process to reshape everything about me and prepare me for His greater purpose.

Five months after I began writing, my grandmother, my best friend, passed away the day before our move. With no new home secured, I traveled between Texas and New Orleans, staying with friends while navigating loss and uncertainty. I was all over the place and didn’t realize it. I completely forgot that I was writing a book. Between grief, transition, and exhaustion, my focus shifted to survival.

When I finally remembered I was writing a book, nine months later, I started drafting out ideas and concepts. My notes quickly became a mirror that revealed how much healing I still needed, how much work I needed to do, and how far I had drifted from prioritizing my relationship with the Lord. Every chapter reflected an area where I needed to grow, and my single season has been the best time to do this. Redefined! turned into more than a book about preparing for marriage. It became a guide to wholeness. It's living whole now, putting God first, and fulfilling my right now God-designed purpose while also preparing for the marriage I’ve been praying for. Writing forced me to slow down, face my stuff, and allow God to restore me.

In 2022, I contracted long-haul COVID with brain fog, fatigue, and memory loss. Writing was almost impossible. Yet, those slow, frustrating moments helped me see that purpose can still flourish in difficult seasons.

By 2024, as my health improved, I began rewriting parts of the book to match what God had taught me. His message was clear: flourishing as a single woman is more than waiting and preparing for marriage; it’s walking in your God-designed purpose and becoming the woman He created you to be before He connects you with one of His sons.

Redefined! is a blueprint filled with practical, faith-based guidance for women who desire to grow in God, peace, and purpose, and to embrace this season with confidence. Completing the manuscript was a new beginning for me. The book was published with She Rises Studios, and they did an epic job guiding me through the process and helping Redefined! reach best-seller status. I’m so blessed that God finishes what He starts.

Writing this book gave clarity to my single season. It allowed me to heal, redefine myself, and walk boldly in purpose. From that growth, I launched an online Skool community for purpose-filled single kingdom womenpreneurs who are ready to live intentionally and prepare for marriage God’s way.

God turns seasons of waiting into seasons of becoming. Redefined! is not just a title; it is my testimony that when you surrender everything to God, He will use every challenge and delay to prepare you for His promises.
