I’ve always found inspiration from people who share their personal and professional stories of transition and resilience, no matter your age or circumstance. I wanted listeners to hear what it means to transition, transform, and thrive. I enjoy writing and interviewing people and have done so in the past. But there’s something about hearing the passion, love, and authenticity and vulnerability of each person I’d talk to that made me realize that I wanted people to not just read about these amazing people. Their actual voices needed to be heard for even greater impact. Create Yourself: Imagery. Intimacy. Innovation was born.
What started as an idea to share the stories of others has truly evolved into a movement that includes tools and resources for everything from entrepreneurship and finances to wellness and healing from trauma. The guests represent all walks of life and various backgrounds. The message of transition, transform, and thrive is resonating in deeper, more meaningful ways. I receive feedback from listeners who see themselves and intentionally connect with the guests, appreciate the diversity of the topics, and find value in the tangible tools, resources, and authenticity the show brings. They are gaining clarity, confidence, resilience, and restoration.
I’ve been able to engage my audience by intentionally being versatile with the guests I interview and the topics we discuss. I’ve taken surveys and conducted market research. I’ve considered what topics are of interest to me, others, and the transformative outcomes I wanted to achieve. It’s great to have guests and listeners share that the segments sound and feel like comfortable, safe, engaging conversations. I set that atmosphere intentionally. I believe audiences want to learn, be inspired, hear stories they can believe and guests they can believe in. I interview guests that epitomize clarity, confidence, resilience, and restoration. So when I receive feedback that includes words like those, I know I’m doing it the right way and for the right reasons. I choose guests for their professional credentials and personal lived experiences. It’s not about how well-known they may or may not be. It’s about the quality and transformative experience they and the listeners will receive.

Podcasting is an absolutely amazing way to share, to connect, to educate, and to inspire. It continues to provide another level of communicating and an exchange of ideas. It continues to evolve. It allows for creativity and provides an outlet to self express and share the gifts, skills, and talents of others. Podcasting can be executed in a myriad of ways, and it adds to its evolution. If you are a person who wanted to have a career in broadcasting or journalism, but put that dream on the back burner for any reason, you have the ability to pursue it. Maybe you just want to try something new. In my case, others have asked me about my personal and professional journey over the years, and media outlets have given me the outlet to share it. I love being able to share the journey of others. What’s especially great is that you can host a podcast virtually anywhere, and the cost to do so can be minimal. Podcasting, in my humble opinion, is here to stay!
