Rebel With A Cause: The Heartbeat Behind My Mic

I didn’t start a podcast to fill airspace - I started it to create a safe space. A space for the stories and experiences that have been shamed, silenced or shut down.

Reproductive Rebel was born from the fire in my belly and ache in my heart - a deep knowing that women and folks with wombs deserved more than the broken systems they have been handed.

Every episode is an invocation. A reclamation. A love letter to the ones who have been told their bodies are problems to be fixed instead of sacred landscapes to be honored and seen. Behind the mic, I’m not just a voice - I’m a vessel for truth, healing and unapologetic rebellion.

I’ve walked in their shoes. I have experienced first hand the gaslighting, shaming and symptoms attributed to being “too emotional” rather than truly listening that something doesn’t feel right. This common practice in the traditional model is why I sat for hours in an ER when I was having a heart attack at 25 rather than getting the care I needed. I was a lucky one - but not everyone is.

I’ve lost babies. I’ve struggled with postpartum recovery. I’ve had the symptoms of endometriosis run my life. Every one of these experiences I was met with the same solutions - tests, medication and possible surgery. My tests were normal. I didn’t want to make decisions that would permanently decide my childbearing future. My experience isn’t unique. This show is my answer when I couldn’t find answers. All of my work as a practitioner and owner of Moon Essence® as well as the wisdom I share on the show is to fill the “what now?” space that so many find themselves in when western diagnostics don’t yield clear answers.

Reproductive Rebel is my heartsong so that women know they aren’t alone. They are seen, they are heard and there are lots of options for care between not feeling “quite right” and hormones and surgery which is all that is offered at a doctor’s office.

I get behind the mic week after week to spread awareness about less mainstream options for care. I witness women in their stories of struggle that drove them to do work like I do - to meet the needs they themselves struggled to find answers because they were “just being emotional.” I want womb carrying bodies to know that their emotional and spiritual bodies are part of the equation and they aren’t a “sum of parts” which is how they are treated in modern medicine.

I offer ancient wisdom for the modern world - a platform to talk about real challenges and natural solutions. I was named Top 10 Health Industry Disruptor in 2023 by Apple News and Grit Daily because I’m challenging the status quo.I am proud that Reproductive Rebel won Best Podcast of 2025 by Best Holistic Life Magazine. The embers are spreading and my dream for Reproductive Rebel is to be a household name so that the next generation of young women are empowered with the tools they need for self care that are modeled by the women in their lives because they learned practices they could start today by listening to the show.

So when you hear my voice through your headphones, know its more than just a podcast - its a pulse. A rhythm. A rebellion wrapped in love. Reproductive Rebel is my offering to the collective, a space where truth is medicine and storytelling is sacred. I show up to this mic because I believe healing happens when we speak what’s been unspeakable. If even one person feels seen, softened or sparked by what they hear, then every word has been worth it. This is my why. This is my cause. I’ll keep showing up, episode after episode, heart first.
