RevOps Champion: Systems for Scaling

I've spent the last 30 years watching companies try to solve the same problem in many different ways.

Some scale efficiently. Some stumble. Most are somewhere in between. They’re doing well enough, but knowing there's more potential they aren’t quite reaching.

In my experience, the difference is almost never about funding, headcount, or technology. It's about how they think about growth.

The companies that scale well treat operations as a system of people, process, data, and technology working together. The ones that struggle treat it like a series of disconnected projects.

The company I built with my wife, Denamico, works to close those gaps.

A few years ago, we realized that our client work was teaching us so much, but those lessons were staying inside our office walls. We were having incredible conversations with CROs, RevOps, sales and marketing leaders who had figured out how to make the messy, difficult work of scaling actually work.

We felt those insights deserved a bigger stage, so we started RevOps Champions.

I'm wired to be curious, to ask questions, to connect dots between ideas. I love sitting down with smart people and figuring out how they solve hard problems. I've spent my own career solving hard problems: from managing deep-sea trawlers in South Africa to rebuilding our business in Minneapolis after the economic crash in Spain. I've made expensive mistakes (like the $10,000 CRM platform that was completely wrong for us). I've learned to operate in uncertainty, pivot when markets shift, and build systems that hold up under pressure.

Every one of those experiences taught me something. The more I talk with other leaders, the more I realize: We're all trying to solve versions of the same problems.

  • How do you align sales, marketing, and customer success when they're all using different definitions of success?

  • How do you build processes that scale without becoming too bureaucratic?

  • How do you make data trustworthy enough that your team actually uses it to make decisions?

  • How do you implement new technology without creating more chaos?

These are revenue operations problems and they require a systems mindset to solve. RevOps Champions is my way of bringing that systems thinking to more people.

RevOps Champions is a space for honest, practical conversations about what it really takes to scale. No buzzwords, no fluff, just leaders sharing what they've learned.

I sit down with leaders who've scaled an organization efficiently. Together, we dig into the decisions they made, the frameworks they use, and the mistakes they’ve learned from.

If you're a CEO, CRO, VP of Sales, or RevOps leader trying to figure out why growth feels harder than it should, this show is for you.

If you're simply curious about how other companies are navigating the same challenges you are, welcome!

If you have experiences and insights to share, I invite you to join us on the show as a guest. (Apply here: https://info.denamico.com/revops-champions-podcast-guest-application)

I've always said my door is open for a good conversation. This podcast is me opening the door to conversations I think are worth having and inviting you to listen in, learn, and apply what resonates.

Denamico is on a mission to help a million people integrate evolving processes and technology to optimize customer and business value. That mission doesn't happen in a vacuum. It happens one conversation, one system, one team at a time.

RevOps Champions is how we scale that impact.

If you've ever wondered why some companies just seem to get it while others spin their wheels, listen in. I hope you’ll catch an insight that helps you reach your next stage of growth.
