From Global Thought Leader to Grounded Storyteller
If success is measured by impact, then sisterhood is the strategy that makes it sustainable. For women entrepreneurs and changemakers, success is no longer just about climbing a ladder; we're craving a lifestyle that feels aligned, sustainable, and rooted in purpose. Through my work in storytelling, entrepreneurship, and global advocacy, I’ve cultivated community by weaving the fabric of collective storytelling into everything I build. Communities like Her Expat Life are proving that when women lead with collaboration instead of competition, growth becomes exponential. With features in TEDEd, The Huffington Post, and CEO Weekly, this work is part of a larger movement reminding us that sisterhood fuels courage, clarity, and connection.
Leaving the Grind to Choose a Life That Feels Like Mine
I walked away from everything familiar in the United States to create a life that felt like freedom. My son has cerebral palsy and autism, and I knew deep down that the life we were being handed did not match the life we needed. Moving abroad between Turkey and Spain gave me space to breathe, but it was the women I met along the way who gave me strength. These women opened doors, shared resources, and reminded me of my power when I was too tired to see it. Sisterhood became the safety net I didn’t even know I was allowed to have.
Her Expat Life: A Global Community for Women Who Choose Intentional Living
That lived experience sparked the creation of Her Expat Life—a platform built to support women living and leading abroad. What started as a space for travel and career support quickly became a sisterhood. Through retreats, workations, and coaching, women from around the world connect with each other in meaningful ways. We share tools, tell the truth, and grow together. Whether you're just starting over or chasing something bigger, this is a place to land and rise. Because when women back each other, nothing is out of reach.

Sisterhood in Action: 3 Ways to Cultivate a Power Circle
Whether you're launching a business, raising a family abroad, or starting over, here are a few ways to build a circle that fuels real growth:
Lead with Generosity
Offer value before asking for anything in return. A warm introduction or resource share goes further than you think.
Align on Values, Not Just Goals
Look for women who share your deeper why. Alignment makes the connection sustainable.
Keep Showing Up
Consistency is what builds trust. Sisterhood is formed through presence, not perfection.
Love.Soul.Legacy: Wear Your Story with Pride
The next evolution of my mission came through fashion. Love.Soul.Legacy is a brand born from the belief that what we wear can carry our history, our identity, and our power. Inspired by the quilt codes used during the Underground Railroad, each garment is ethically handmade in Ghana and designed to tell a story. Through embedded QR codes, every piece unlocks a message, a legacy worth knowing and wearing. We call it Wearable Storytelling. It’s fashion with depth, beauty with meaning, and a quiet revolution stitched into every thread.
When Women Win Together, We All Rise
At the core of Love.Soul.Legacy is global sisterhood. From our artisans to our customers, this brand is powered by women amplifying one another. Our Juneteenth launch honors the legacy of liberation—and the work still ahead. This is about more than clothes. It’s about building economic opportunities, preserving culture, and making sure our stories live on.
True empowerment is never a solo pursuit, it’s a ripple effect that begins in community.
You Are Not Alone. And You Were Never Meant to Be
Wherever you are on your journey, know this: your story matters. Your freedom is possible. And your voice is part of a bigger movement of women rewriting the rules and rising, together. Welcome to the sisterhood.
