I shouldn’t be here. But I am. I survived a double attempted homicide while eight months pregnant, which alone tells you everything—and yet, only scratches the surface of the story.

Violence didn’t just try to take my life, it tried to erase my future. Protecting my kids while living in survival mode became my declaration of purpose. In the years that followed, I did what I 'had to' to make sure food was on the table and a roof was over our head. Little did I know, my journey was transforming my trauma into advocacy, pain into leadership, and pure devastation into growth.

That transformational journey is called Post-Traumatic Growth (PTG)—and it is the foundation for everything I stand for today.

Growth after devastation resides in most of us, instinctively! Think about it, you are wiser, stronger, more appreciative, resilient, self-reliant, purposeful!
