After completing her Associate's degree in business administration and raising three children, she found her calling in education. Inspired by her experiences volunteering in her mother’s Kindergarten classroom and fueled by a passion for child development, Dr. Menge embarked on a journey that would define her career.

It was during her time working with students with severe cognitive delays that Dr. Menge found her true calling. Guided by two remarkable teachers, she delved into the world of special education, eventually earning her Master’s degree and Moderate/Severe Credential. For nearly three decades, Dr. Menge has been a beacon of hope and support for her students, guiding them through elementary, middle, and high school, and beyond.


But Dr. Menge’s impact extends far beyond the classroom. As an award-winning author of the Queen Vernita's Educational Series and Queen Giggles Kingdom, she has used her platform to advocate for inclusivity and empathy. Inspired by her own experiences and those of her students, Dr. Menge’s books not only entertain but also educate, offering readers a glimpse into the lives of individuals with disabilities and the adventures they embark on.

With ninety international literacy awards and 120 film festival awards to her name, she has garnered recognition and praise from around the world.
