Thriving Through Change

Change is difficult, wouldn’t you agree? We’re told it’s the only constant, yet it often leaves us feeling stuck. Some change feels good; some doesn’t. And whether you’re a glass‑half‑full or half‑empty kind of woman, it can shake your footing. But what if we didn’t just survive change—what if we learned to thrive through it?

If life has taught me anything, it’s that change is inevitable—and the only thing I can truly control is myself. The first step is acceptance; the second is release. I learned this the hard way. What kept me stuck wasn’t change itself, but the letting go—and letting God. I knew He was with me; I felt His steady comfort, love, and peace in those first four to six years after the car accident. Still, surrender took practice.

I learned acceptance by choosing praise in the middle of pain. Surrender—because so little was ever in my control—meant giving it to God. Early on, I felt the Spirit leading me and began simple practices to see through God’s lens instead of my own. I chose to believe in a greater good—to live thankful in all circumstances—trusting every challenge was shaping me into who He needed me to be. I want you to know, this is possible for you, too. With God, all things are possible when you choose to believe.

What change are you walking through? When change isn’t welcome, our eyes go to the negative—and what we focus on grows. I learned that firsthand. Scripture calls us higher: “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances” (1 Thessalonians 5:16–18).

To live it, I had to see through God’s lens, not the world’s. That’s not denial; it’s learning to accept, keep moving, and let God reshape our steps.

But how? For me, it was nightly: resting in His promise—even when I felt defeated and empty. I didn’t know how or when; I simply believed He’d lead me into His plan. “I have a plan for you,” He whispered. His love held me—even when I couldn’t love myself. Slowly, I shifted my focus from my circumstances to Him. Decades later, He showed me what His grace had been shaping—and called me to teach others to walk the same path.

This was only the beginning. As I let Him lead, grace gave me the next steps. In joy and in struggle, I praised Him. He tore down the walls I thought protected me—walls that only imprisoned me.

Over a year ago, God said, “You are to speak of My miracle power.” For more than thirteen years, He has healed hearts, minds, and souls through my story. He is the Way Maker—the Miracle Worker, the Promise Keeper, the Light in the darkness—and His light has been shining through me all along. If this has stirred your heart, that same light is in you. We only need to uncover it.

That’s why I created the Pathway to PEACE Method™ and am building a community to teach the strategies He gave me. Not everyone hears His voice as I did; for years I’ve carried that hope to others. I’m developing simple tools to keep His life‑giving message close—offering what He gave me: resilience, peace, love, and the eternal life found in Him. This is what it means to be a messenger of God’s miracle power. Will you join me on this life‑giving journey? Let’s make 2026 your best year yet—so you can finally start living, because “it’s not about the years in your life, but the life in your years.”
