After a traumatic experience you have many emotions. It can be incredibly overwhelming, heavy and your vibration decreases. You can feel so down, that depression is there too. It can feel like a black hole you feel drawn to. I know, I’ve felt and seen the hole lurking at me several times in the last 9 years, but did you know you have a choice here?
Because you’re in the emotions, you might not be aware of this depression hole, and simply let yourself slide into it. But now you’re reading this, you’ve become aware of it. If I tell you that this hole will bring you a negative feeling, negative thoughts, misery, victimization experiences, hopelessness and disconnection, would you consciously choose to go there?
I knew you would pass for it and make the conscious choice to turn your back to this hole and start walking in the other direction!
That is the first step to empowering yourself. It is like telling your body and mind, ‘I want to keep moving forward and will face what’s necessary.’ Believe me, your soul and guides are applauding you at the sideline with encouragement. Your soul wants you to learn and experience personal growth.
So what happens from here?
You have to take time to create peace inside you again. That process is of course different for everyone and depends on what traumatic experience you’ve had, and if you have others under your care also. You need time. It’s handy to start with asking help from family, friends, or neighbors, to take over tasks so that you can have time to focus on you.Â
I am a very independent person and didn’t want to bother anyone with my life, but I’ve learnt quickly to ask for help after a surgery where I wasn’t allowed to lift any weight, was by myself and had a young child to care for. What I discovered, was that people loved to help! In fact, asking for help is offering the other person an opportunity to give and feel useful and that makes them feel good. Just think about this for yourself; if someone asks you for help, do you feel good to help them? I bet it’s a yes.
You can also ask for help from your guides and from your deceased loved ones you had a strong connection with. Tell out loud to them what you’re feeling, what your worries are and what your needs are to heal fully. They will be happy to supply and support you on your path forward. They will honour your free will and provide in a way that is empowering you. You are the one doing the work. No one else can do it for you.Â
Whatever is inside you as feelings, emotions, and beliefs that you need to let go to get back in balance and in your power again, you have to take the time to work through this. Furthermore you’re learning more about yourself in this journey and you find out what works for you and what doesn’t resonate. By making the conscious choice every day to keep moving forward, you are in your power and an inspiration for others. You are creating the life you want with a healthier body and mind. You will bounce back, as long as you allow the process that’s necessary to happen. You have everything you need in you.
