When the Body Speaks: What I Learned When It All Fell Apart—Again

At 44, I thought I had finally arrived.
I had overcome years of autoimmunity.
I was in the best health of my life—strong, sharp, energized.
I had built a successful wellness practice that lit up my soul.
Life felt full, aligned, and like I had finally stepped into my purpose.
And then it all unraveled.
The details don’t matter as much as the impact—but I will say this:
I had to walk away from the practice I had poured my heart into because of a deep betrayal by someone I thought was one of my closest friends. It shattered something in me—not just my business, but my sense of safety and trust.
And then, as if on cue, my body began to break down.
Fatigue hit me like a wave I couldn’t outswim.
The bloating came back. The brain fog. The headaches.
The very symptoms I had worked so hard to overcome returned… and I couldn’t understand why.
I had done everything “right.”
I knew what to eat. I had the protocols. I had the knowledge.
But my body wasn’t interested in what I knew. It was begging me to feel what I had spent decades avoiding.
I kept myself so busy for so long—60-hour workweeks, two-a-day workouts, night classes, always chasing the next level.
Back then, I told myself it was discipline. Ambition. Purpose.
But now I see it for what it really was: protection.
I was trying to outrun pain. I didn’t want to sit in the discomfort, the grief, the betrayal, the fear.
So I pushed harder, achieved more, controlled everything I could.
But God had other plans.
He let everything fall apart so I could finally look within.
The chaos wasn’t punishment—it was invitation.
To slow down.
To be still.
To feel.
And when I finally did…
I realized that the real cause of my symptoms wasn’t the betrayal that had just happened.
It was all the pain I had buried for years.
My body remembered. So did my unconscious mind.
That’s when everything changed.
I stopped trying to fix myself and started listening.
I began addressing the root causes—not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually.
I started to honor what my body had been trying to tell me for years.
And through that journey, I created the exact approach I now use to help other women heal:
Digestive CPR—a mind, body, and soul methodology that helps women uncover the real reason behind their fatigue, gut issues, and burnout.
Because here’s what I’ve learned:
The symptoms are not the problem.
They’re the message.

They are your body’s way of guiding you back to yourself.
So if you’re in that space right now—where everything feels hard, chaotic, or heavy—please hear me:
You are not broken.
You are not failing.
You are waking up.
And I want you to know—you don’t have to go through it alone.
If my story resonates with yours… if you’re feeling that nudge in your spirit… if your body is speaking to you and you’re ready to listen—
I invite you to reach out.
Let’s talk about where you are and where you’re meant to go.
Let’s uncover what your body is truly asking for.
Let’s begin your healing—not just from the symptoms, but from the source.
Because peace, clarity, and alignment are possible.
And they’re closer than you think.
