What’s your “Summer Glow” story this year?

This summer, my glow is coming from finally finding, and owning, my personal style. It’s taken years to get here. As someone in a plus-size body, I spent a long time navigating a fashion landscape that didn’t always make space for me. I used to dress to blend in, or to follow rules that weren’t made with bodies like mine in mind. But this year, I’ve stopped dressing for “flattering” and started dressing for joy. I’ve leaned into playful silhouettes, bold color, and statement pieces that reflect who I am — not who I was told to be. Style has become my daily act of self-expression and self-trust. For the first time, getting dressed feels like a celebration, not a challenge and that’s where my glow begins.

How does your brand or message reflect your California energy, even if you’re not based there?

California energy is all about creativity, boldness, and freedom and that’s exactly how I show up. I express that through fashion and storytelling, but also through taking a stand. In a time where so much is happening in the world especially for women, marginalized communities, and people of color — I’m using my platform to educate, advocate, and speak up. I believe style means nothing without substance. Whether I’m sharing an outfit I love or breaking down current events, my brand is rooted in authenticity and action. I don’t shy away from tough conversations.. I meet them with compassion, clarity, and community. That’s California energy to me: being unafraid to be seen, to care loudly, and to lead with both heart and integrity.

How are you showing up more boldly or intentionally this summer, online or in real life?

This summer, I’ve stopped shrinking and waiting for the “right” moment. I’m choosing to show up exactly as I am. After years of second-guessing myself, I’m finally stepping out of my shell and letting people see the full version of me. I’m leaning into real-life connections, building community, and creating space for vulnerability, joy, and honest conversation. I’m also challenging myself to grow as a creative and entrepreneur in an industry that’s constantly evolving. Instead of chasing trends, I’m trusting my voice and vision. Showing up boldly isn’t always loud. It’s often quiet, intentional, and deeply personal. That’s the energy I’m carrying into everything I do this season.

What’s one message you want other women to know about beauty, wellness, or personal leadership in 2025?

You don’t need permission to take up space. Beauty and leadership aren’t about perfection, they’re about presence. In 2025, I want women to know that softness and strength can coexist, that visibility is powerful, and that your story is enough. Lead with what makes you different. That’s YOUR glow.
