SOLO BOOK CONTRACT - TIER 1
The following shall confirm the material terms of the agreement ("Agreement") reached by and
among She Rises Studios Publishing ("Studio") and ________________________________ ("Talent") in connection with the book ("Project") based on an original concept created by the ("Studio") and ("Talent").
Terms:
Publishing Responsibilites
She Rises Studios Publishing will take responsibility for publishing, production, and implementation of this book project, ________________________. A non-refundable payment for this project is due immediately to move forward with the publishing project.

Regardless of the payment option chosen, there is a STRICT NO REFUND POLICY, except under certain cancellation conditions outlined below.
Launch Date:
The book launch is based on availability in 2026/2027 and beyond, and will be determined during the first onboarding call.
Publishing Package (PUBLISH):
Amazon Bestseller Campaign
We will run an Amazon Best Seller campaign for 30 days to enhance eBook and paperback
sales. This package includes:

Manuscript prepared for Amazon ebook & Paperback distribution as well as for all major retailers.

Hardcover is available for an additional fee.

2. Global Reach:​

eBook availability in 13 countries and print availability in 12 countries.

3. Custom Book Design:

Professionally designed front cover, back cover, and spine.

Interior layout.

4. Editing, Formatting & Proofreading:

Full and Comprehensive editing and finalization of the book's content.

5. Marketing and Campaign:

Creation of all marketing materials for pre-launch, launch, and post-launch phases.

A 30-day Amazon Bestseller Campaign.

Our 30-day Amazon Bestseller Campaign is designed to build awareness before your release, create momentum during launch week and help your book reach the right audience on Amazon. The campaign includes​:​​

SEO Optimization: We optimize your book's categories, metadata, and keywords based on research within your book's market to improve discoverability and position your book in relevant, high-visibility, lower-competition categories whenever possible

Social Media Promotion: We promote your book across She Rises Studios' social media platforms as announcements for your eBook presale, ebook launch, and paperback release.

Email Marketing: Upon your book's release, it will be featured in our email newsletter, introducing it to our community and network.
​
Author Virtual Interview: We'll host you on our Light the Torch and Author Celebration live events (based on you availability), where you'll be interviewed about your book, your story, and your journey as an author.
​
Magazine Feature: You'll receive a 2-page featured article to share your story and promote your book.
​
6. Distribution & Listing:

ISBN number assignment included.

Listings across Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Walmart, Target, and 39,000 additional online retailers (inclusion in all retailers is subject to retailer discretion).

7. Wholesale Book Cost:

Option to purchase books at wholesale cost, typically $4-$6 per book for black-and-white editions, depending on book size and color.

8. Promotional Support:

Social media promotion via She Rises Studios' network (60k+ followers). Features Inkubator Magazine and newsletter.

2-Page Featured Article spread in any She Rises Studios Magazine.

9. Exclusive Rights & Royalties:
-
Talent retains 100% of book rights and 100% of royalties.

Royalties will be paid out twice a year, on January 31st and July 31st, via check, provided royalties exceed a $100 threshold.

Right to Cancel
Studio's Right to Cancel:
She Rises Studios reserves the right to cancel this contract with a 30-day written notice. In the event of such cancellation, Talent will receive a prorated refund based on the work completed up until the cancellation date.
Talent's Right to Cancel:
Talent may cancel the contract at any time; however, by doing so, they forfeit the package and all rights to any refund, under any circumstances.
Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
Talent agrees to a strict Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), under which all materials, strategies, and processes shared by She Rises Studios throughout the publishing processes are considered proprietary intellectual property of She Rises Studios. Talent agrees to maintain confidentiality regarding all proprietary information of She Rises Studios and not to disclose, reproduce, or use any materials or methods for any other purpose outside of the agreed book project without explicit written consent from She Rises Studios.
Arbitration
All disputes arising under or in connection with this Agreement will be resolved solely through arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association's rules. The arbitrator will be located in the State of Nevada. Notice in writing is required to initiate arbitration.
Acknowledgement
I, ______________________________________, agree to the terms of the contract as described above. I understand that by signing this form, I am releasing this content (defined above) to She Rises Studios Publishing for the express purpose outlined above.
