Healing From the Past: Jesus Mended My Heart
I begin this article knowing that a lot of “firsts” our in my near future. I am excited about all the doors God has opened and continues to open in my/our lives in the last few years. I would have never dreamed of writing one chapter in one book before. As I reflect back, I see how the Holy spirit guided all of my writing and helped me revisit areas of my life that I may not have returned to on my own accord. I feel like it was necessary to revisit my past and some of the pain that I has been pent up over all these years. I feel like writing and publishing Courageous Woman Casting Cares Upon Jesus was so much more for me than just writing a book. As I walked through some of the areas that Jesus has
worked in my life, I was able to see patterns of growth in those deep dark valleys and my reliance and loyalty to Jesus grew stronger and stronger each day. I know that the past does not define my future, however I believe it was necessary to forgive myself and release any feelings of doubt or guilt from the night of my best friend’s serious car accident of the trip I almost took with them all. I had closure and the opportunity to begin the process of healing our hearts together with my best friend, Christine when we visited Shore’s grave for five hours in 2025.
The Next Chapter: New Experiences, New Places & People to See
Flip the page because a new chapter is about to begin. There are so many new experiences in front of me right now. I am excited and somewhat apprehensive of what’s to come. My husband and I flew out to Hollywood several months ago around the time of the release of my Solo Book: Courageous Woman Casting Cares Upon Jesus. I am still in awe of God that this book hit #1 on Amazon and turned me into a USA Best Selling Author overnight. That was all God, not me. My husband and I had an amazing time at the Emmy’s Gifting Suite hosted by Fenix TV meeting various singers, actors, actresses, movie producers, authors, and much more in one room that night. We also had an opportunity to do some street ministry while we were there in Hollywood, California. I remember specifically ministering to a gentleman that was disabled in a wheelchair. We had a nice conversation with him which involved sharing the Gospel with him and purchasing a piping hot cup of coffee for him on a cold and dreary day. We also had the chance to share the transformational power of Jesus Christ with the men that were working on the scaffolding near our hotel. Everything seemed to be under construction in the area of Hollywood we were staying. There was such a deep hunger for the Gospel and Jesus and His message of HOPE that we openly shared as we traveled through the city on foot. As we made our way out to the Santa Monica peer, by car, more opportunities to share the Gospel presented themselves. I remember one young man in particular that was fishing off the peer. Nate began talking to him about fishing and this conversation moved toward faith and Jesus Christ. I began sharing with him about my book that had just been released and he literally put his fishing poll down, pulled out his phone, and ordered a copy of my book for his mother right there in front of us. I wrote Courageous Woman Casting Cares Upon Jesus for all of my readers and not for myself.
I wanted this book to be deeply personal while encouraging and inspiring others toward the Lord. This touched my heart to see how excited this young man was to get my book for his mother that day.
Entering the Unknown: Future Speaking Engagements to Share the Gospel
I am writing this as I prepare for Empower Her Content Day in Las Vegas, Nevada on February 22, 2026. What started as an Empower Her Content Day has now grown into an amazing Empower Her Content Year with thirteen events leading up to the flagship event on February 22, 2027 at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada next year. There are many unknowns in front of me and our family right now. Nate and I continue to pray over the next events for this upcoming year. I will be speaking at Empower Her Content Day both this year and next year at the Allegiant Stadium in 2027. As I prepare for my speech, I pray for God’s wisdom, guidance, and protection over me and our family. I pray that God is preparing me mentally, physically, emotionally, and most importantly spiritually to deliver this seven minute speech in about two weeks. I am in the process right now of launching our courageouswomanglobal.com website that should be operational by the time this article goes to print. We are also in the process of releasing the Courageous Woman Casting Cares Upon Jesus: Full Armor of God poster on Amazon very soon.
My husband and I have some big plans for this website and new company/ministry, Courageous Woman Global in the future. We will continue to trust God and pray about his direction He is leading us and the doors He opens and wants us to walk through, as well as the ones He closes tightly in front of us which are not meant for us.
