The work being done isn’t by chance. I came to it by purposeful survival.

Over 20 years ago, I lived through a double attempted homicide while eight months pregnant, over a thousand miles away from home, and with an 8yr old daughter present. That experience shattered my life, devastated our world, and it reshaped our future. I learned how silence can be deadly and that systems can fail when compassion is missing.

If you aren’t familiar with Post Traumatic Growth, I’ll share a story that defies it. From personal boots on ground experience and wisdom through navigating the system, Confronting Domestic Violence, Inc. was born. What began as a personal mission to protect and provide for my little unit, evolved into an organization dedicated to prevention, protection, education & training.

Today, we don't just serve the community - we help employers and communities recognize that domestic violence isn’t just a social issue, it’s a safety and compliance issue that demands attention.
