When I first imagined launching a beauty brand, I wasn’t chasing trends, I was aligning with meaning.
I wanted to create something that didn’t just make women look radiant, but made them feel radiant. Something that reflected who we are: resilient, refined, full of purpose. What I didn’t realize until after was that the true foundation of beauty for me and for the brand, was gratitude.
It’s easy to think of beauty as surface level, especially in an industry filled with fast fixes and flawless filters. My journey taught me that the real glow comes from within. and gratitude? That’s where it starts.
A Ritual Rooted in Thanks
Every morning, before I open my laptop or answer a single message, I start with stillness. My regimen isn’t rushed, it’s sacred, I thank God for another day. I give thanks for breath, for peace, for progress, even when it’s slow.
That’s what The Lavish Luster is built on: the belief that beauty isn’t a mask, it’s a mirror. It reflects how you feel about yourself. When you start the day with gratitude, everything about you shines differently. You’re more grounded, more graceful, more you.
This daily pause is my self-care and my spiritual reset.
It keeps me centered and soft, especially in a world that asks women to be hard to be taken seriously. I’ve learned that you can be powerful and polished, luxurious and kind, driven and deeply thankful, all at the same time.
