Building a Legacy

I made the decision to retire earlier than planned due to a family illness. In the midst of navigating that difficult time, I quickly realized that survivor benefits weren’t enough to sustain even the most basic necessities. The financial strain left me searching for something more—an opportunity to rebuild, to create security, and to regain a sense of purpose.

I explored many options, but nothing truly spoke to me. Then, in the midst of my search, I discovered my love for writing. It became my outlet: A way to share my journey, my struggles, and my triumphs. Through this passion, I was fortunate to collaborate with incredible authors, contributing to four anthologies, two of which became international bestsellers. Writing became a source of healing, opening doors I never imagined.

As I connected with inspiring individuals—entrepreneurs, visionaries, and those dedicated to making a difference—I realized that I wanted more than just an income. I wanted a life filled with purpose, service, and impact.

Then, someone introduced me to a travel business opportunity, and something inside me lit up. I attended a presentation, and for the first time in a long time, I felt like I had found exactly what I had been searching for. The timing, however, wasn’t perfect. My finances were tight, and even though I wanted to say an enthusiastic YES, I hesitated. Month after month, I had to decline. But the opportunity stayed in my heart.

Then one day, I made the decision. No more waiting. No more letting fear or finances dictate my future. I took a leap of faith, knowing that this was an investment in myself, my dreams, and the legacy I wanted to create. And I’m so grateful I did. Within my first few months, I completed certain travel certifications and, most importantly, found a community that truly supports and uplifts one another.

From the moment I joined, I was welcomed into a community that uplifted and supported me. I learned about the world of travel, the incredible perks, and the life-changing experiences that come with it. And as I embraced this new journey, one thought stood out above all—I wanted to create lasting memories for my granddaughters. The idea of showing them the world, one destination at a time, ignited a passion in me like never before.

Now, I am building a travel business focused on helping grandparents create unforgettable experiences with their grandchildren—memories that will be cherished for a lifetime.
