Building a Legacy with Intention

I’ve been in business for over seven years, helping businesses grow through digital marketing. During that time, I’ve seen the industry change rapidly, not always for the better. Early on, I made a deliberate decision to move away from the traditional large-agency model and instead focus on providing more custom, personalised support grounded in integrity and honesty.
For us, success was never about volume or chasing fast wins. It was about doing the work properly, building trust, and creating relationships that last beyond a single campaign or quarter. Over the years, we’ve built strong, long-term partnerships with our clients by always prioritising what’s genuinely best for them rather than what’s easiest or most profitable in the short term. That approach has shaped PupDigital into a business built on trust, collaboration, and purpose, and that is the foundation I want my legacy to stand on.
As a business owner, a woman in business, and a mother of two, my priorities have naturally evolved. Running a business while raising children forces you to be intentional about how you spend your time, your energy, and your focus. It has also sharpened my sense of responsibility. I’m not just building a business for today. I’m building something that reflects the values I want my children, and other young women, to see in leadership.
Today, my focus is increasingly on empowering more women in business, both those who are already established and those who are just starting out. Too often, access to quality marketing and business support is locked behind high retainers that make sense for larger organisations but exclude early-stage founders. As part of our future vision, PupDigital will expand its offerings to support start-ups with training, guidance, and practical education so they can run their own campaigns with confidence. The goal is to make high-quality digital marketing more accessible, without the pressure of committing to services that don’t yet suit their stage of growth.
To me, legacy as a modern woman means leaving behind more than revenue milestones or success metrics. It means creating pathways, building confidence, and fostering community. I want young women, particularly those with entrepreneurial ambitions, to see that leadership does not have to come at the cost of compassion or balance. It can look like strength paired with empathy, ambition paired with integrity, and growth paired with care for others.
Looking ahead to 2026, I plan to place an even stronger emphasis on mentoring women in business and young women more broadly. This is something I feel deeply passionate about because self-doubt remains one of the biggest barriers holding women back. I see it regularly, even among highly capable women. Many feel they need to be more qualified, more experienced, or more “ready” before they take the next step. Through mentoring and coaching, I want to help women unpack those internal narratives and recognise the strengths they already have.
My purpose isn’t simply to run a successful agency. It’s to make a lasting impact that creates ripple effects well beyond my own business.

When one woman gains confidence, clarity, or financial independence, it influences her family, her community, and often the next generation. That is the kind of impact that lasts.
When it comes to who inspired me to lead with purpose, the answer is layered. I’ve been inspired by the women around me, by clients who take brave leaps, by peers who challenge norms, and also by myself. There came a moment where I had to choose between staying safe in a role that no longer challenged me or stepping forward to build something aligned with my values. I chose to take the leap, to innovate, and to become a changemaker in my own way.
I believe in big goals, bold growth, and women believing deeply in their own capability to create something extraordinary. Ambition should not be apologised for, and success does not need to come at the expense of authenticity. The legacy I’m building is not just reflected through PupDigital, but through every woman I can support, mentor, and empower to believe in herself and pursue what she truly wants to build.
