Glowing Through the Chaos: Finding Beauty in the Trenches of Motherhood

Born and raised in Torrance, California, I graduated from UCLA with something more valuable than a degree—a laid-back confidence rooted in creativity and boldness. The Southern California vibe I grew up with taught me that authenticity and a little fearlessness can take you anywhere. Even though I now call Oregon home, that California energy remains my foundation. It shapes how I run my business, show up for myself, and support other mothers navigating their own journeys.
This summer, I'm fully embracing that energy by being visible, authentic, and owning my unique version of a summer glow—one that comes from inner confidence rather than external validation.
I'm the founder of Postpartum Panty Party, a brand that transforms postpartum recovery from clinical to empowering—with humor at its heart. Our bestsellers include the "Worth Every Stitch" and "Temporarily Out of Service" panties, which have brought relief and smiles to thousands of new moms across the country. This year, we expanded with VaginaStrong Perineal Cooling Pad Liners—yes, you read that right. The positive response from both mothers and birth professionals has been overwhelming, confirming what I always believed: moms deserve products that serve their needs while honoring their humanity. We're not just creating postpartum products; we're creating a movement that says motherhood doesn't require you to lose your sense of self or your sense of humor.
My summer glow isn't about tanning or trendy skincare routines (though I never skip sunscreen—that California upbringing taught me well). It comes from finally stepping into my voice as a business owner, mother of three, and woman who refuses to accept outdated postpartum narratives that tell us to suffer in silence. I'm showing up boldly online, speaking directly to women navigating postpartum's wild ride, and reminding them they don't have to lose their sense of self—or humor—just because they had a baby. This glow is about rejecting the idea that we have to choose between being a good mother and being ourselves.
This summer has been all about visibility for me—growing our Amazon presence, expanding wholesale partnerships with hospitals and maternity boutiques, and earning media features like She Wins Magazine. Every step forward reinforces my belief: we need products that don't just serve a need, but tell modern moms you matter too.
You're more than a caretaker or diaper changer. You're still you, and you deserve comfort, confidence, and laughter in the hard moments.
That California energy I carry means freedom—freedom to run business on my terms, laugh through messy seasons, and show up authentically while feeling worthy. It's about creative problem-solving, rejecting shame, and embracing the unapologetic beauty of being real. This philosophy infuses every Postpartum Panty Party product. We create functional comfort with humor because the world doesn't need another boring postpartum product. Moms need to feel seen, celebrated, and supported.
This summer taught me that confidence doesn't have to be loud, but it must be honest. You don't have to shrink yourself to be a good mom or erase your identity. You don't have to choose between softness and strength. My hope is that every woman who encounters my brand feels permission to take up space—whether that's buying quality panties, taking a break, or launching their dream project.
In 2025 and beyond, my message to women is clear: Confidence and humor are the new beauty standards. It's not about bouncing back; it's about moving forward—real, raw, and radically kind to yourself. We're allowed to laugh at chaos, honor hard days, and feel beautiful in the middle of it all. Motherhood doesn't erase your glow; it adds new layers to it.
Here's to showing up boldly. Here's to women rewriting postpartum, business, and leadership stories. Here's to summer glow that comes from within—and maybe a little help from a cooling pad liner.
