What mindset shift changed the course of your life or career?

The moment I stopped seeing my illness as a failure and instead as an initiation was when everything changed. My body was never working against me; it was trying to protect me. That shift from fear to curiosity and from shame to compassion laid the foundation for both my personal healing and my professional mission.

How do you help others heal while staying grounded yourself?

I do my own work. As a therapist, I know I can only take others as far as I am willing to go myself. I regularly engage in supervision, personal healing work, and practices that support my own regulation. This includes somatic release, time in nature, connection with peers, and creative expression. I also make sure my professional life allows room for integration, not just output.

In what ways do you believe healing work is reshaping modern entrepreneurship?

Healing work is showing us that sustainability, authenticity, and slowness are not the antithesis of success but the heart of it. Entrepreneurs are realizing that unhealed trauma often fuels burnout and that true innovation arises when we are regulated and present. The most impactful business models now center wellness, relationality, and integrity, not just productivity or profit.
