Redefining What Winning Looks Like (and How the Moon Helped Me Do It)

For most of my life, I was chasing the “win” I thought I was supposed to want.

Go to college. Get the degree. Land the big job. Buy the house. Build the résumé. On paper, I did all those things – and did them well. I spent over two decades in corporate strategy and consulting, climbing ladders and realizing success. But despite every checkbox I ticked, something always felt off. I was achieving more, but feeling less.

The truth? I was professionally successful but spiritually unanchored. And that tension haunted me for years. I could lead a boardroom, but I would quietly panic at night, realizing I didn’t believe the faith stories I’d been taught. I wanted to believe in something – but I needed it to be real. Practical. Something that made sense to my brain and my heart.

That question sat dormant until the birth of my daughter – then it exploded into urgency. I needed a belief system that felt authentic to me. One I’d be proud to turn to in motherhood, to model in my daily life, and to pass down to her with confidence. One rooted in love, not fear.

In 2023, burnt out and questioning everything, I finally stepped away from the corporate world. I wasn’t just looking for another job – I was searching for meaning. That’s when I dug deeper into something that had quietly been with me for years – the Moon. I even had the phases tattooed down my back, but I hadn’t yet realized the depth of what they could offer.

What I found wasn’t vague or mystical for mysticism’s sake.

I discovered a hidden layer of the lunar cycle – gestational cycles – that follow 9-month arcs, layered on top of the monthly rhythm we all see. I began researching them obsessively, building databases and tracking real-life patterns. And what I found blew me away: a repeatable, science-aligned structure for setting goals, making decisions, and flowing with natural timing.

That discovery became my business: The Moon Method & Moon Chat, a spiritual system built for strategic minds. I call myself a Spiritual Systems Developer because I create frameworks that help analytical, high-achievers finally find alignment – without abandoning logic.

What I’m most proud of isn’t just the business itself – it’s the clarity of purpose I’ve found. I now see spirituality all around us, embedded in the patterns of nature, asking us to notice. And I get to help others see it too.

Whether it’s a client having an aha moment as they connect the dots in their life, or someone realizing they’re allowed to slow down without losing momentum – I know I’m making a ripple. One grounded, aligned moment at a time.

If you’re still stuck in the “old win” – burning out, overperforming, doubting whether spirituality belongs in your high-achieving life – here’s what I’d tell you:

Start small. Find a micro-moment to pause. Step out of the flowing river that is your non-stop life. Put your hand over your heart. Breathe. Notice the quiet. That stillness is the doorway to everything you’ve been chasing.

We were never meant to be in go-mode 100% of the time. Just like the moon, we have phases: rest, build, celebrate, release. Only one of them is about producing. When you find your rhythm and flow with what’s real – you stop striving for satisfaction, and start living from it.

That, to me, is what winning really looks like in 2025.
