Growing up in Brooklyn, NY, with Haitian roots, Ruth learned early on the power of perseverance. Her life has been shaped by faith, family, and an unshakable belief that even the hardest moments carry lessons. When the world shifted during the pandemic, Ruth chose to pivot. What could have been a season of setbacks became a season of blossoming. She discovered her gift for helping others tell their stories—and in the process, began writing a new chapter of her own.

Motherhood is at the heart of Ruth’s journey. Her children—Runesa, Rulianna, Jerumiah, Rufredo, and Maddie—have inspired her every step of the way. In fact, two of them became published authors before the age of ten. Her debut book, Hyper Kid, So They Say!, was more than just pages on paper. It was a mirror for families navigating the challenges of raising energetic children. From that one story blossomed a short film, a plush toy, affirmation puzzles, and coloring books—proving that inspiration, when watered with love, can grow into movements.

Ruth is no stranger to obstacles. Balancing her role as a mother, entrepreneur, educator, and community leader has tested her in ways few see behind the scenes. Time management, financial hurdles, and the pressure of wearing many hats could have stopped her.
