But it wasn’t until she herself faced a dual eating disorder—struggling with both food addiction and body image issues—that she truly understood the complexities of health, nutrition, and self-love.


In 2018, Teri’s personal health challenges deepened as she grappled with liver dis-ease, poor digestion, iron deficiency anemia, and more. It was during this time that she incorporated testing into her practice, focusing on food sensitivity, nutrient deficiencies, and cellular inflammation testing. The results changed the trajectory of her approach to health and wellness, and her experience fueled a passion to guide others through their own health journeys.



A Defining Moment: Taking Control of Her Health

Teri’s commitment to sustainable lifestyle changes was forged in the crucible of her personal health battles. At a low point, when she was at risk of being hospitalized due to her eating disorder, Teri realized the critical need to take control of her own health. She began to educate herself on proper nutrition, healthy eating habits, and weight management. It was a pivotal moment when she saw herself in the mirror—feeling like nothing more than a skeleton—that she made a conscious decision to heal from the inside out.


Her transformation didn’t happen overnight. But through determination, self-education, and a commitment to understanding her body, Teri was able to create a sustainable path to health and well-being. This is the approach she now shares with her clients: empowering them to reclaim control over their health without relying on fad diets or restrictive eating plans.

The academy teaches the four pillars of life transformation: fitness, nutrition, weight management, and internal health.


Teri’s approach emphasizes that fitness and nutrition alone cannot create true health—one must also focus on internal health to achieve lasting results. By addressing all four pillars, Teri’s clients are able to experience a mind-body-spirit transformation that leads to profound, sustainable change.

As a leader in Celebrate Recovery, a Christ-centered program for those overcoming addiction and other life struggles, Teri helps women connect with their faith and tap into their spiritual strength.


Teri combines biblical teachings with practical wellness strategies, guiding women through the 12-step program and offering support for personal healing and transformation. Her coaching not only addresses physical health but also fosters spiritual empowerment, rem


inding women that they are more than their struggles and that they have the strength to overcome their challenges.
