THE BLESSING CALLED NOT YET: Embracing the Wait

Waiting is often one of the most challenging parts of our faith walk. Whether you’re anticipating an answer to prayer, a change in your circumstances, transition, healing, a business decision, marriage, God’s promises or seeking direction, it can be easy to feel discouraged and impatient. However, scripture offers us reassurance that even while waiting, God is actively at work.
I assure you there is a blessing in the waiting, and in the “Not Yet.” Do not grow weary in well doing, faint not! This is a time to rest, be still and know who you are and who God is.
He knows the beginning from the end every step of the way even as you wait. God does not make mistakes, and he wants you to know in this moment of your journey there will be beauty for all the ashes in the outcome. His timing is so perfect, and perhaps you already know this well from past experience. Don’t you dare give up or give in during this time because God always keeps his promises, without fail. He wants to show you just how much he loves you and wants to build your faith and grow you for his purpose and plan.
It is in resting while waiting that you will experience the most growth and maturity through him. Just as seeds need time to grow beneath the soil before they bloom, our own lives require periods of Rest, which means to let go and let God. You must know that in this form of stillness and patience, God is nurturing your potential. He is pruning and preparing you for such a time as this. Yes! He is preparing you fully for what is to come, and it will not tarry much longer! He knows you have endured some hardship, heartache, attack, set back, and battles you thought you wouldn’t survive, but you need to know without a glimpse of doubt that you will not go under, but you shall only rise and move forward as you keep your eyes on him. You will not even recognize yourself or your past life once his plans and his will begin to be made manifest in your reality. You must take this last leg of your waiting line to lean in and get closer to him in a deeper way so that he can reveal his strategy, chess moves and building blocks toward your destiny and ultimate purpose. As spoken in Isaiah 29:11, his plan is to prosper you, give you hope and see you walking fully in cadence with him in a way that you have not known before in this season and ultimately your future. Trust the process, trust the delay, trust the lessons, and the testing, for it is most empowering, and will allow you to have a peace through him that will surely surpass your understanding. His sovereign grace is more than sufficient.
Be encouraged, your wait is not a waste, and you are not alone. Please understand your purpose is for a great cause, which can require a great pause….

Therefore, don’t look back, and don’t let impatience cause you to faint or fall, for at the end of the wait is the greatest gift of all!
Blessings…
