The Strategy That Changed Everything

There’s a stat that stopped me in my tracks:
Only 2% of women entrepreneurs ever scale to $1M.
I hit that milestone in 2010… but I was sobbing instead of celebrating.
At the time, I owned a senior home care franchise—on call 24/7, working 80+ hour weeks, exhausted and empty. I had the revenue, sure. But I also had sleepless nights from stress, missed events with my family & friends, and a deep sense of disconnection from the life I thought entrepreneurship would bring me.
If that was “success,” I didn’t want it.
That moment—me, crying in my car after covering another sick call from a caregiver—was my draw a line in the sand moment. I realized I hadn’t built a business. I’d built a job I couldn’t quit. And if I didn’t change something, I was hanging up the For Sale sign.
Fast forward to 2025: I was several years into my current business—coaching women entrepreneurs online—when I came across that 2% stat.
I was shocked. I had hit my first million 15 years ago in my first business, but no one had ever told me how rare that was for women.
And yet, here I was—no longer in burnout, no longer sacrificing my life for success. I had built a business that honored my values, leveraged 18+ years of experience across franchising, brick & mortar, healthcare, boutiques, real estate, and direct sales—and gave me back my time.
But that 2% number? It lit a fire in me.
Because I saw exactly why women were stuck—and I knew how to get them out.
Too many brilliant, capable women are still trapped in the Grow Phase:
Maxed out with clients, but unclear how to scale without burning out
Overdelivering, undercharging, and still hitting inconsistent revenue
Hustling harder instead of designing systems to create ease and scale
Most don’t even realize that $1M isn’t just a dream—it’s a decision. One that becomes inevitable when you build the right foundation.
The strategy that changed everything for me—and now changes everything for my clients—is this:
Speak to Desire, Not Desperation
In the early days of my coaching business, I leaned into pain point messaging. “Are you overwhelmed? Burnt out? Tired of doing it all?” And yes, it connected… but it didn’t convert.
Why?
Because I was attracting women who were in full-on survival mode. They were depleted, not decisive. They wanted someone to fix it for them—not someone to guide their rise.
So I pivoted.
I started speaking to the desire to scale: the woman who was tired but still had fire. The one who wanted to lead, not escape. That one shift in my messaging brought in the most aligned, powerful clients of my career.
Simplify to Scale
At one point, I had it all: a mini-course, a webinar, a quiz, a freebie vault, workshops, and a signature offer.
Just writing that list makes me tired.
The more I created, the more confused my audience became—and the more burned out I felt. So I made the boldest move of all: I simplified.
Today, I run a lean, high-converting funnel:
One entry point (Scale-Ready Blueprint)
One clear next step (Scale Strategy Session)
One transformational offer (The Legacy Business School)
Clarity sells. Confusion stalls. Simplicity scales.
Own Your Brilliance
This shift wasn’t about strategy—it was about identity.
In 2025, after a client comment left me second-guessing my value, I realized how much I had been downplaying my expertise.
I had built a $17M+ business while working part-time. I’d grown multiple business models across multiple industries. I’d helped hundreds of women scale sustainably. And still, I was playing small.
The moment I stopped minimizing my success and started owning my brilliance, my entire business shifted. I aligned my prices. I restructured my offers. I claimed my space unapologetically—and the right clients rose to meet me.
Here’s what I know for sure:
Scaling to $1M doesn’t require hustle.

It requires structure, systems, support, and streamlining.
That’s the foundation of The Legacy Business System.
This isn’t just about making more money. It’s about building a business that supports your life. A business that gives you time to pick up your kids, travel midweek, or take a Tuesday off just because you want to.
It’s about freedom. Not in the vague “laptop lifestyle” way—but in the deeply personal, soul-honoring way that allows you to live your one life fully.
We don’t need more women burning out.
We need more women breaking into that 2%—with ease, clarity, and power.
And it starts with a decision.
