Tomika Anderson is the founder and CEO of Manifest Greatness Media (MGM), an award-winning marketing, public relations, and communications firm known for delivering real, measurable results. With its 5-star reputation, MGM specializes in helping visionary entrepreneurs and mission-driven organizations across both the private and public sectors, turn their stories into national visibility, major contracts, and meaningful community impact. She is also the creator of Motivated Mamas and Single Parents Who Travel community, now with more than 15,000 single parents worldwide. Tomika's journey is a powerful example of thriving through community, innovation, and resilience.
For more than 25 years, Tomika has worked at the crossroads of media and public relations. She’s built a career as both a strategic thinker and a creative force, earning nominations for an Emmy and an NAACP Image Award for her writing and producing. She has held key roles at CNN, FOX, BET, MTV, among others, , and her time inside and outside the newsrooms gave her the chance to tell the stories of cultural icons including Beyoncé, Serena Williams, Michelle Obama, Usher, and Dave Chappelle.
What sets Tomika apart is her ability to turn strategy into real momentum. She has helped guide public relations and communications work for organizations such as theUNESCO, the Defense Logistics Academy, and Microsoft’s NTA Program. The campaigns she has overseen have reached massive audiences across television, radio, digital platforms, podcasts, and traditional print media.
Tomika’s philosophy is simple: visibility should open doors. Her PR work regularly lands clients in major outlets like Forbes, Essence, NBC, Good Morning America, USA Today, and The Washington Post—and that exposure translates into stronger branding, increased revenue, and long-term growth. One of the moments she’s most proud of was being asked by the Obama Administration to help train journalists and communicators across Africa, working alongside the African Union and UNESCO to support leaders and changemakers in sharpening their message.
Tomika is also deeply committed to professional growth and education. She is an Executive and Certified Professional Coach (ICF-CPC), a Prosci-Certified Change Management Practitioner, and an adjunct professor in the Communications Department at American University.
For Tomika, learning how to build your success around authenticity, the good and the bad, will definitely attract the right people and opportunities to help you win. She believes that authenticity creates a natural alignment between who you are and what you’re building, making it easier for others to genuinely connect with your mission. And when the time comes for people to clearly see your truth, they’re far more likely to trust you, support you, and open doors on your behalf.
Outside of her corporate and government work, Tomika is a devoted community builder. She is the founder of two global communities,Single Parents Who Travel and Motivated Mamas, which bring together single parents and entrepreneurs from around the world. These spaces offer support, connection, and a platform for authentic storytelling across cultures.
In every space she steps into, Tomika brings clarity, warmth, and purpose. Her mission is to help more women and families “win out loud” by removing barriers and amplifying voices that need to be heard. She’s also a proud “boy mom” to a high school senior who keeps her grounded, inspired, and up-to-date on whatever’s new in music.
