Turning Challenges Into Creative Purpose

I’m an actor, model, athlete, and storyteller from California’s Central Coast who is passionate about creating work that inspires people and leaves a meaningful impact. Whether I’m acting in front of the camera, developing stories through screenwriting, or exploring creativity through projects like cookbooks, I’ve dedicated myself to building a career centered around authenticity, perseverance, and connection. For me, storytelling is more than entertainment — it is a way to encourage others, share lived experiences, and create representation for people who often feel overlooked.
Over the past several years, I have written five scripts and produced one short film that has gained recognition on the film festival circuit. What began as a creative outlet eventually became a serious pursuit that allowed me to grow as both a writer and filmmaker. My short film has been featured in 30 film festivals and has earned 9 Award Winner placements, 8 Finalist placements, 6 Semi-Finalist placements, 1 Quarter-Finalist placement, 4 Official Selections, and 2 Honorable Mentions. Each acceptance and award represents not only recognition for my work, but also validation for the stories I choose to tell.
In addition to my short film, four of my screenplays have collectively been recognized at 31 film festivals. These projects have earned 6 Award Wins, 5 Finalist placements, 11 Semi-Finalist placements, 3 Honorable Mentions, and 1 Quarter-Finalist placement. Seeing my scripts resonate with festival judges and industry professionals has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career so far. Screenwriting has allowed me to transform personal experiences, emotions, and challenges into stories that audiences can connect with on a deeper level.
Several of these film festivals are IMDb-qualifying, meaning the recognition attached to my projects becomes verified credits on my IMDb profile. Within the entertainment industry, IMDb-qualifying achievements hold significant value because they demonstrate professional recognition and credibility. Having verified placements connected to my projects shows that industry professionals believed in my storytelling and saw value in the work I created. While recognition alone does not guarantee a Hollywood breakthrough, it can help open doors that are often difficult for independent creators to access. In an industry built on persistence, networking, and credibility, every milestone matters.
The stories I write are deeply rooted in lived experience. I’m especially drawn to themes involving perseverance, overcoming adversity, being underestimated, and discovering self-worth through life’s challenges. I believe some of the strongest stories come from ordinary moments that reveal extraordinary resilience. Those are the kinds of stories that stay with audiences long after the credits roll because they reflect real emotions and human experiences.
What makes this journey especially meaningful to me is representation. As someone living with disabilities, I want my career to serve as proof that limitations do not define a person’s potential.
Too often, individuals with disabilities are underestimated or discouraged from pursuing ambitious goals. Through my work, I hope to challenge those assumptions and inspire others to believe that their dreams are possible, regardless of the obstacles they may face.
My journey has not always been easy, but every challenge has strengthened my determination to keep moving forward. I continue to push myself creatively, professionally, and personally because I know that every project, every audition, and every screenplay is another opportunity to grow and make an impact.
More than anything, I want my work to inspire others to believe in themselves and their stories. My journey is more than a personal pursuit of success in the entertainment industry — it is a message about resilience, visibility, and refusing to be overlooked. I hope that through my storytelling, acting, and creative work, I can continue to encourage others to pursue their passions boldly and never allow adversity to define their future.
