What are the daily habits that extend vitality?

The habits that make the biggest difference are usually the simplest. I always emphasise three pillars for long-term vitality: movement, recovery and intentional focus. Daily movement keeps the body energised without needing to be strenuous. Light stretching, a short walk or regular mobility breaks can maintain energy far better than occasional intense sessions. Recovery is equally important. A steady sleep routine, regular breaks during the workday and firm boundaries around work hours give the mind space to reset. Intentional focus means choosing a small number of priorities each day and protecting your attention. This reduces stress and increases your sense of progress. When these habits are repeated consistently, they support both wellbeing and productivity.

How do you balance high achievement with self care?

Many people fall into the trap of treating self-care as something they will do once the work is finished. In reality, it is the foundation that allows you to perform at a high level in a sustainable way. I encourage clients to approach their wellbeing with the same seriousness they give to their goals. Set clear boundaries, schedule time for recovery, and recognise that your best work only happens when your health is protected. For me, that means putting non-negotiable habits into my week, such as exercise, time away from screens and activities that genuinely recharge me. When you treat self-care as part of your success system, achievement becomes far more consistent and far less stressful.

What is one holistic practice you swear by for mental clarity?

My most reliable practice is going for a walk. It is simple, accessible and incredibly effective. Stepping away from the desk, getting fresh air and allowing your body to move creates an immediate shift in how you think and feel. I find that even ten minutes helps reset my mind, lower tension and bring clarity to my decision-making. The change in environment gives your mind space to process thoughts without pressure. I encourage this in many of my corporate wellbeing sessions because it is practical, easy to build into a routine and often the quickest way to clear mental fog during a busy day.
