We are excited to announce the process of founding and launching CWG Courageous Woman Global officially on 2/10/2026. My husband, Nate Maendel, and I have been prayerful about what direction God is leading us in this company, ministry, and website at courageouswomanglobal.com. I have been following Ryan Miller for awhile now on social media. He recently went to Nigeria and interviewed our Brothers and Sisters in Christ, and released his documentary, “Faith Under Fire: A Documentary Journey Through Loss, Courage, and what it means to be a Christian”. I have been praying for our Brothers and Sisters in Nigeria for a while now, however I never realized to the extent of the persecution they were all facing really looked like. Ryan’s documentary opened my and my husband’s eyes and hearts to these precious Christians in Nigeria right now.
Thank you Ryan Miller for sharing your personal experience going to Nigeria and sharing these personal stories of our Brothers and Sisters in Christ! Here is the link for the documentary if any of you feel led to pray for or reach out to them in support: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k-_9lXeS3ho.
CWG Courageous Woman Global is now at the tail end of receiving trade marking in logo and company name, so Nate and I are excited to see where God is leading us in all this. After heavy prayer and viewing Ryan’s documentary: “Faith Under Fire”, it ignited a strong passion in both Nate and I to reach out and make a difference in the lives of our Brothers and Sisters in Nigeria.

One of our first bold moves with CWG Courageous Woman Global was to lend support in prayer and financially, on an ongoing basis, to Nigeria through GCR Global Christian Relief.
EmpowerHer Content Day Has Grown into Content Year 2026 - 2027
We recently returned from Las Vegas, Nevada for the EmpowerHer Content Day Kickoff 2026 event on 2/22/26. We flew in on Saturday morning and back to MN on 2/23/26. What an AMAZING fulfilled and packed week-end! When we first arrived there was no time to spare before being whisked up by a taxi and brought over to the location we were all having our photo shoots done at. Our photographers with She Rises Studios and Fenix TV are top notch and a delight to work with. We had an opportunity to minster to a gal at our hotel and prayed over her in a powerful way, prior to the evening fellowship we had with everyone there. We missed our group ride over to the cocktail hour, however there is always another Uber available. It was well worth the delay. After ministering to the gal that worked at our Hotel, cocktail hour with connection and amazing fellowship with all the ladies and gentlemen there, and dinner we turned in for the night; as our big speeches were all happening the following day. Overall, this event was a wonderful experience to reunite with existing friends and create new ones along the way.
A Small Window for Street Ministry That Day
Nate and I woke early the next morning, and after having my makeup done, professionally, by Bobbi Yantorno we were out the door to do a little sightseeing. As we wondered around for an hour or so, we came into contact with a homeless gentleman that had just been banished from hanging out in front of the hotel.
We watched as the police removed him and he returned to his fetal position on the bridge. As we wandered around we also prayed about a way we could be of somewhat of an encouragement to him. As we were walking, we continued to pick up religious tracks that people had discarded on the ground. We returned about a half an hour later to share one of those tracks with a small monetary gift tucked inside for our friend on the bridge. Nate gently woke him up and we handed it to him, while telling him that Jesus loves him and so do we.

Time for My Debut Speech to the World
I would like to preface this by saying that I used to have an extreme fear of live video, video in general, and definitely public speaking. I worked with Silvia Becker-Hill and Erica Elliott as my speech coaches to help me prepare for this big day. I knew that even though our venue at the Bottega Exchange in Las Vegas, Nevada was fairly small, that there were going to be very important media people present that day, and that the event was going to be live-streamed across the world via Fenix TV. I should mention that we called upon all of our prayer warriors via facebook, prior to getting on the plane to Las Vegas, for encouragement and support of my speech that day. As I stepped up to share my speech and the transformational power of Jesus Christ, I was not afraid. I boldly shared God’s message of Faith, Strength, and Purpose, while integrating the core message of the Gospel as well. God showed up and the Holy Spirit guided and directed my speech that day. God gets all the praises and glory, not me. Thank you LORD!
